Western countries are already far more controlling than China.
Nah. I'm way below average. Average would be nice.
Yeah, I've got something like that going on. Nothing can be done about that, though, without major surgery. But the dentist thing is different - I've been carrying around a cavity so big he almost took the whole tooth, but i didn't really feel it. I felt something, but not pain. I mean, the months it was there, not the drilling with Novocaine or whatever he injected.
I don't think bitcoin favors monarchies. I think it extends their decision making process to more people, which is a boon to any system.
Is the Great War what Americans call world war 1? If so, those were not monarchies. They had monarchs, but those figure heads don't really deserve the name. Those warring nation states all had legislatures, which is where the real power was. The problem was the legislative bodies, not the monarchs, who were sometimes literally kidnapped and coerced into approving the desires of the oligarchs in the diets.
Before states coalesced into states, which is roughly when they got legislatures, the role of the king was to be a barrier to the predations of oligarchs. Oligarchs were the landholding lords, who were always trying to conquer each other and oust the king. If the king was weak, the oligarchs abused the peasants ; if the king was strong, he had the support of the peasantry and could play the nobles against each other. The nobles gained the upper hand when they got permanent legislatures (more commonly called "diet" at the time). Previously, a diet only happened when the king called for it, which was rare. But with a permanent diet, being a busy body lawyer or representative became an industry. Its at this juncture where everything goes wrong. Legislatures... legislated. Regulation means to make things regular - uniformity. The innovations of legislatures are standing armies, conscription, public education and uniform curricula, central banks, lawfare, the eradication of local languages, and ever increasing taxation. Add any I missed... Nothing good comes from legislative bodies.
Absolute monarchies work much better for the people. Not better for the nobility, though. Democracy is oligarchy.
Yes. Natural law is property rights. Fiat or credit money violates everyone's property, so people become confused because the value transmitted is not true to the value intention. Then the confused people fail to learn the most relevant things, the amount of error in the system builds up over time, and people demand actions which further violate property, while believing such violations are good or virtuous.
Super simplified, you could say that prices quantify psychology.
What's the story here? I wasn't here early enough to have watched it happen. Is bitfinex a foreign company? How did they justify stealing the btc?
Also A frames are awesome
But tightly correlated, IMO. I doubt the woke disease could have spread on a hard money.
According to dentist, I have absurdly high pain tolerance. Yay... But in this case, expensive.
I was using charcoal paste too but stopped when I read that it damages something (idk tooth anatomy) and causes problems. Could've been propaganda, idk, didn't want to risk it
They were bankers. If most were Jewish, that's interesting, but by itself its no different than pointing out that most wore shoes and wore tophats. If there's a part of Judaism which tells them to steal, corrupt politics, use unfair weights and measurements, etc., then point it out. That would be consistent with the argument and useful to know.
I see someone else responded, but I can't see the comment... If this was redundant - oops
How did you discover them? What have you found?
