Je reprends ici une analogie récente de Dr. Saifedean Ammous que j'ai trouvé très pertinente.

Dès lors que la poudre à canon fut inventée et commença à être adoptée par certaines armées, son adoption à large échelle n'était plus qu'une question de temps.

Car ce n'était alors plus un choix mais une nécessité quand, en tant qu'armée n'utilisant que des armes blanches, vous faisiez face à une armée qui vous opposait des armes à feu.

Il en va de même pour Bitcoin.

Dès lors que son adoption progressera, notamment au sein de grandes institutions publiques, de grandes entreprises ou d'États, ce ne sera qu'une question de temps.

Car viendra un moment où ne pas l'admettre, ne pas le tolérer, ne pas l'adopter et l'utiliser constituera un désavantage compétitif majeur, que ce soit économiquement / commercialement pour des entreprises privées ou géopolitiquement pour des États.

Bitcoin, c'est la "financial gunpowder", la poudre à canon financière.

Primal’s trending algo is no longer easily gameable by bots. We implemented a new system based on web of trust. We will publish more details soon, but the high-level idea is to infer humanity of a pubkey based on its connections in the social graph. As always, full source code for this system is open and available in our repo.

Given this new capability, we removed everyone from the "can't trend" list. This means that every Nostr account is able to trend on Primal; they just need to post a note that produces genuine user engagement. We will monitor the results of this, but it is possible that a global "can't trend" list is no longer needed.

The best part: Primal’s trending feed got a whole lot better!

Néanmoins cela ne répond pas au pourquoi annoncer Bitcoin not crypto alors que justement c'est un élément essentiel du consensus.

De plus comme contre argument à la prose certains projets sont déflationniste ce qui en font des monnaies encore plus dure, d'autres attirent beaucoup de développeurs, de projets, d'innovation... Qui ont des fans tout aussi fervent que nous..

Bref , rien qui ne puisse justifier de séparer la cryptographie de Bitcoin
