“Bitcoin Fixes This” is more accurately stated “Bitcoin permanently alters the course of this”.
We live in a world where Fiat drives all outcomes to their most preverted. We don’t know how Bitcoin will alter the outcomes but we’d prefer them all to what we have now.
When Bitcoin does begin to fix / alter the world, it’s not going to be so simple. The world that was altered by Bitcoin will be a much more difficult one than the one we live in now but the upside is immeasurable - to say it is 10000x would be a bearish understatement.
For now I’ll stick with the slick meme “Bitcoin Fixes This” and be part of the solution.

Cryptography and music have a deep connection. At the core is a Finite Field.
In music the finite field is {A,B,…..,G} where no matter what operation you wish to do on a note, you always end up back in the field, perhaps at a different octave, perhaps not.
A band called Phish, whose name represents an attack on privacy, might be the key that bridges the gap between thesE two disciplines. Their lyrics are known to be silly, but consider a recent song called Lonely Trip:

Another group of people who should have just stacked instead of wasting their time pretending to mathematize something they will never understand.
The conclusions aren’t even relevant or insightful. So what was the point of this exercise and theater?

Not everybody hangs in long enough to hear hope. All they hear is me destroying their foundation. It’s not meant to be a black-pill but it does end up looking like it to them.
Not sure one can really deliver an Orange Pill without a Black Pill.
Orange Pilling loved ones seems like a series of Black Pill body-blows until a fundamental constant in their life shifts so that the Black Pill actually appears as an Orange Pill.

We talk about my vacation to Hawaii, my Cryptography rabbit hole, The CIA playbook, Gray Aliens, Cosmic Apotheosis and Judaism. Whoa.
Could be chicken / egg. Also kids can and should learn both.
Geometry is for abstract thinking and reasoning. Needed for analysis - agree it’s not the priority it is now with calculus but I’d still like to see kids learn it.
Also kids learn it very easily.
Teaching math to kids as algebra -> geometry -> calculus was a relic of wanting to find engineers to build the world.
This has transformed to algebra -> statistics as administrative academia has become the dominant force in "educated” society.
Big Data and machine learning have normalized the learning of Linear Algebra.
The Bitcoin Standard requires that we get back to algebra and geometry but now focus on Number Theory and Analysis as fundamental tools.
If you’re homeschooling kids, teach them Number Theory early. It’s fun AF and it’s the basis of cryptography.
In the rabbit hole, difficult choices must be made.
If I truly want to understand cryptography, I need to be willing to stop learning about Bitcoin for several months, possibly longer. For all I know there’s another rabbit hole I must dominate before coming back up and focusing on Bitcoin.
The rabbit hole tests and builds our time preference - as spending 2000 hours on Bitcoin without really understanding cryptography will Be quite limited.

Most “science” doesn’t scale across populations or across time. If your science relies on the Law of Large Numbers - you’ve been duped. Don’t trust - verify.
It requires integrity to see that the world around you is fake. If you are fake you can’t tell the difference.
Every time you give your word - consider that keeping it is the greatest act of self and is the only way to actually exist.
People who don’t keep their word do not exist.
Bitcoin teaches humans what true freedom means. All the beauty and all the responsibility.
None of us truly understand it but learning Bitcoin will teach us to be free.
At some point we will be incompatible with those that are freedom-ignorant and I hope that all of those differences can be settled in cyberspace
