The node is in your heart.

Finally started reading The Mandables 👀

I would like to buy a miner for use as a heater / DCA this winter. I've got 220 power available.

Recommendations? I'm sure 6-8 months ago was the best time to buy hardware, but better late than never.

#asknostr #mining

I don't want to be too pedantic, but wouldn't the difficulty be the price, opposed to the hashrate?

Imagine how much more advanced technology will be once some of the smartest people on Earth don't use most of their time trying to fix the money.

Imagine a future where money/credit is far more accurately priced and only the most scrutinized investments and projects are pursued.

This is why I'm here.

This future WILL exist.

SLOWLY THEN SUDDENLY.

Jitsi still uses a server, keet.io doesn't.

Seems like keet could be the solution 🤞🤞

Why are you not running a node (and using it exclusively) yet? Run your own node. Verify your own UTXOs

Even if they open source code, it is meaningless because there is a backdoor which can be accessed by blockstream.

Joining federation requires permission.

NGU implies existence of fiat. It is not my future. Blockstream also shill fiat-pegged-shitcoin, a.k.a tether for extending lifecycle of fiat.

It is weird to me that #Bitcoin-ers who says "Fxxx fiat" love blockstream at the same time.

Wait so you're both concerned that they'll offer such a useful service that they'll be making exorbitant transaction fees, but also concerned that they'll steal coins & kill their reputation (and other income streams).

Maybe clarify your arguments a bit more before yelling into the wind. I'm not even sure you know what exactly you're actually mad at. Iirc there's quite a long timeout before the emergency keys are useable.

Iirc liquid is open source, anyone could spin up a federation. Also fees are extremely low on liquid. I'd imagine blocksteeam and all their stakeholders benefit more from NGU than from use of liquid, even at a large scale.
