WRT54Gv1-v4.. Not the v5 crap after Cisco bought them. Good times..

Working through spam reduction on the nostr.rocket-tech.net relay.. It's surprising how much of the spam originates from AWS and Cloudflare IP ranges.

Tearing down Section 230 is to our advantage right now, while the insane are running big tech, but I suspect we'd regret it later. The idea of a platform not being directly liable for user-generated content is solid.

Playing with Gab AI tonight. Pretty amazing..

Interestng how ~90% of our relay traffic was sourced from a handful of Cloudflare IPs and an AWS India host. I strongly prefer IP blacklisting and leaving the relay free to use.

Should have just landed at Oceano.. Would have been a beautiful day for it.

Measured my tolerance for the NBC morning show today (not by choice). ~2 min, then I have to leave the room and do absolutely anything else.

Anyone else concerned about the scalability of SQLite on the relays? I'm running nostr-rs-relay on the nostr.rocket-tech relay, and I've seen ~350 MB/week of db growth.

Most of the relay implementations are using a local db library. A few allow Postgres. I'm wondering if this will come nack to bite us later.

Should be. Relays could be configured to accept only posts meeting a specific PoW target.
