That's the point. Sandboxed google play services has been the perfect expansion from GrapheneOS. I ended up using it since one year and I am really impressed how well it works. Perfect solution bringing apps relaying on google services within separate profiles. Love it!

I have been one of the early backers. Retail has been 599$ I think. As much as I respect their work I ended up canceling my order because I had to wait like 1-2 yrs longer than expected and the result was more like a proof of concept rather than anything close to a daily driver.
I decided to go with the pinephone (pine64.org). Compatible hardware and slimmer.
Linux phone are really lacking android support. I really need those apps here and there.
Waydroid looked promising for that.

It feels like a relay jungle. Ux is not good right now. I have no clue which composition of relay are the best to have access to relevant content based on following and topics of interest. Got also lots of errors because of VPN.
Would also happy to pay if I could figure out the best relay combination for me.

Yes totally agree. The UX getting better day by day.
But I also think censorship resistance and privacy is not yet a product rather than a feature right now. So we have to focus on what nostr does better than X for example. Fair monetization could be a huge thing .
