I found some code on Github to do this, but can't claim to be an expert :)

Basically it converts data into very small shifts in the pitch of the different harmonics of the speaking voice in the audio. This can survive audio compression, and be recovered afterwards by the same program, but is completely non-obvious to listeners.

A government could try to scan all video for signs of steganography, but because there is so much video made in so many ways and so few are altered, they would be wasting their time unless they already knew what they were looking for.

And I'd encrypt the message first, with my conversation partner's GPG public key, so it looks random if discovered and nobody can read it.

That's the best I could do.

On its own I never recommend Monero because you will lose purchasing power.

I only recommend Monero as a privacy tool.

For example receive in Monero and immediately make an atomic swap, or when you are going to spend make a swap from bitcoin to Monero and spend.

But it is not economical.

I spend a lot of time analyzing the different privacy methods that currently exist in bitcoin, including Monero as a privacy tool.

There is nothing that convinces me 100%, they all have counterparts.

All of these include:

- Lightning network

- Liquid network

- Swaps

- Coinjoins

- eCash

- Statechains

- Monero swaps

- combination of the above.

It is not that they are not effective but they have trade-offs such as:

- some have little protection from a state actor.

- expensive

- complicated for the average user

- Some are unusable for the plebs in high rate environments

My next goal is to get users to reduce their relay lists from an average of 20 to 3.

You don't need to trust 20 relays. You just need 1. But 3 adds redundancy in case 2 of them are busy at the same time.

And remember: Relays can see what you are looking at in real time because the app is requesting the post, likes and replies from them as you scroll. They can even count which posts captured more of your attention.

So, make sure you trust your relay operators.
