Deer, or maybe rabbits have been eating my comfrey. The only thing I can really do is plant enough for them and me. Leave some for nature I guess.

Real estate deeds are recorded at county courthouses. So each county would have to agree to abide by the Blockchain instead of their clerk of court. I doubt they would ever give up that power.

These poor comfreys may not make it. The cow is clearly not under feed. But I don't like that look in her eye.

Look great. Mine works way better if I put the ice cream container in the freezer before I use it.

I use this as a propagation bed. The comfrey was pulled, divided and planted around my fruit trees. I left the crowns to regrow. Hopefully I can divide them again early fall. The tree is a hybrid willow. I want the branches to thicken up a little bit more before I take cuttings.

The last ramp is barely hanging on. There were more two weeks ago. I bought them two years ago at a flea market and planted them by the creek. I really didn't think they would survive because of the altitude, but they are still alive. I haven't harvested many in hopes that they will multiply. Maybe next year.

Azolla update. I started with four pools. Two each in different amounts of sun. The pools that got more sun started to turn brown/red. I combined the 4 pools into 2 and moved it all under the porch. You can see a big difference in the colors.

Proof of work. 2 4*4s set in concrete. 9 gauge wire attached to each post. Muscadine trellis. Will drive a stake tomorrow so the vine can be trained up to the wire. I need to order some comfrey to plant on either side of the vine.
