chronic early adopter of decentralized tech :)

Not sure if I’m in a minority opinion here, but this is why I like NFTs. They can serve as a DRM that anyone can use to protect their work. But it’s better than DRM because I can’t revoke your access arbitrarily at a later date

There’s a looong way to go until the bull run. This 50k era won’t hold and that’s just fine

What if you used Rama to make a Nostr relay? Reduce costs by 100x? https://redplanetlabs.com/

I *want* to pay $5 per year for Nostr usage.

I paid $5 to use Farcaster and am never opening that up again.

Hell, I’ll pay $12 per year for Nostr.

How does content discovery work in satcom?

1. I go to a page and see comments from everyone or comments from just people I follow?

2. Do I have to go to a page in order to see comments? Or is there also an activity feed where I can see what people I follow are commenting on?

Imagine an internal knowledge base with a full commenting system like this. People can comment on documentation, etc.

Only need native nostr apps to start using the same URI pattern like “nostr://“ or “nostrapp://“

Let the user’s operating system handle which app opens the content.

Personally, I don’t use any browser apps for nostr (I can’t stand browser extensions). Having this for native apps would be so convenient. nostr:note1w3xakfypepcmpek4wmcuaj6jg6j7mgjeagtqwzs9yzqz5xgpqmpquxhf3f

When sharing Nostr content, opt for sharing the link using Client-agnostic platforms like https://njump.me

It's very annoying to receive a link that forces the use of a Client that you don't or can't use.

njump is cool, but unnecessary centralization. Why not just use a custom URI like “nostr://mylink” and then your operating system can determine what is the default app to open those links in?

I’m so sick of seeing “str” everywhere man. Please make it stop

I genuinely don’t see spam on Nostr. I’m not sure why that is, but I don’t. I think I muted a couple spam accounts in the past.

But the point is that the spam is specifically endorsed on farcaster because it’s part of the ethereum ethos. They support and enable get rich quick schemes.

Also I’m just going off of what Warpcast told me. They said during onboarding that I couldn’t change it and it didn’t let me advance without choosing a name

Theologically, I’ve become a blend of Messianic Judaism, Biblical Unitarianism, Michael Heiser style henotheism.

I don’t think these beliefs are required for salvation, but it’s where I’ve arrived after honest inquiry
