Did anyone here ever think that 2019 was the apex of western culture and civilization? Until we go through the oncoming crisis and come through it like the champs we are. Iâll be old and near dead, but I will see free men rise again.

Look at the sweeping scope of the act. Everything to do with electronic communications, surveillance, everything.

Incrementally, one piece of legislation at a time. Starting with the Patriot Act. 342 pages written, ratified and passed into law in October 2001, allegedly in response to the 9/11 terror attacks and the ricin attacks, a little over a month after 9/11. Based on the timing I think itâs obvious that it had been written long before September 11.
Anarchists are socialists because they want the improvement of society, and they are communists because they are convinced that such a transformation of society can only result from the establishment of a commonwealth of property. -- Johann Mosthttps://todon.eu/tags/anarchism
No
Not to justify the arrest, but to give some context in the Telegram CEO getting arrested, there are people using it as a market place for CSAM (child porn).
Understanding how and why they shutdown platforms and protocols is important to understand.

Not buying it. This is like the usual gun control debate. There will always be degenerate users of any technology
Iâd still say my favourite book this year has been Softwar by Jason Lowery. And Broken Money by Lyn Alden. Iâm just working through Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand right now. Despite its fictional basis, I like the writing style and the allegory to current world events.
Wow I just found your account and you are one of my faves already. Great writing on all of your posts.

Older video, but it has triggered a memory in my brain tonight, I think it relates significantly to the current timeline: let me know what you think: Love, hate, tangential thoughts?

Itâs disturbing. I love it. The art direction is so cutting edge and consistent. Unlike any style I have seen. The song kind of reminds me of Rammsteinâs âDu Hastâ but Iâve been so buried in American and Australian metal since I last listened to Rammstein, and I rarely watch music videos, so maybe this visual style is more common than I am aware. But itâs tight.
I like the message of the song, but it feels like the songwriter is at a place I was 25 years ago. Which is understandable given what the world has turned into since then.
I absolutely love that game. I donât get a lot of gaming time these days, but Iâve always hoped for an opportunity to finally try playing it coop. Unfortunately Elden Ring is not super well suited to occasional or casual play. It is just so unforgiving. But I occasionally hop in and just farm xp and try to open up new areas when I feel like dying a lot lol.
