Damn. Here's you dose of coffee maker porn. This is a stove top espresso machine.
Its a steep price, but what do expect with when a rocket scientist designs something?

I like my moka pot, thank you.
I miss McClelland oriental #14, is this a good replacement?
#homesteading
The economics of homesteading for our family (7people living ar home right now):
Jersey milk cow and beef calf cost $1000, eats $700/yr in feed, plus $450 in hay. Fence was $1000. First year cost $3150. Milk cow on average has produced 4 gallons milk per day, we sell half @ $7/gallon, $5100 income. Plus we keep half the milk, making yogurt, butter, sour cream, and cheese. And we get about 240# grassfed beef from the calf plus dog food and tallow.
Seeds for garden $100/yr. not selling any at the moment, consuming about 75%.
15 egg chickens were free, cost annually $4000 in feed, produce roughly 3000 eggs. We consume all of these.
Rabbits are fed with leftover cow hay and garden greens, produce roughly 70 kits, 2# meat each.
Milking the cow takes 2 hours per day
Caring for other livestock and gardens take 15 minutes/ day on average.
Butchering takes about 30 hours /year.
Total out of pocket cost to us: $2100.
We still buy some things at the grocery store that we can't grow or raise here, or produce during the winter.
I made New York strip steaks for lunches for the week. Cooked in tallow with elephant garlic. 100% home grown and butchered.

Amazing! We've raised rabbits for years, and I never get tired of fresh rabbit liver.

For sure! Nicole is also a great resource!
GM!

Older picture, but the milk cow is on the left

GM! We really enjoyed raising sheep and eating the meat. Home butchering!
FYI, milking a cow when it's 20F outside us not nearly as bad as it sounds, and gets the blood flowing to the brain at 4am. Health benefits!
primal settings indicates the ability to use an external wallet via NWC

18F when I milked the cow this morning, but should be up to 37F today, 58F by Friday
Onboarding my friend, a total Bitcoin newbie, to a KYC service was a nightmare. While OGs might prefer peer-to-peer exchanges, KYC can be a major obstacle for nocoiner especially in developing economies.
A simpler approach could be a no-KYC fiat on-ramp like nostr:nprofile1qqswe03hyye2jv3msylwkj8cml8d4m9qpc5g0tccrvrrcm86z0kcaggpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtc54uwrd - it integrates with Meld.io for bank transfers and Bitcoin credit card purchases. Although it's not anonymous and may be more expensive, it offers an easier way to acquire Bitcoin.
Speaking of which, I suspect Aqua will also require KYC once they launch their planned debit card?
Do you have any recommendations for other user-friendly, no-KYC fiat on/off ramps suitable for beginners?
The problem is that it isn't scarce
