When I joined Nostr at the end of January there were few web services and even fewer mobile apps to use it, I didn't even understand what zaps were and I felt very lost.

I can't imagine people signing up now.

It is very difficult to keep up with all the new things and for many of them there are no guides.

The developers take too many things for granted and instead should think not only about being first to publish the next big thing, but also about explaining to ordinary users how to use it.

People don't have time to listen to others, they are busy with a thousand things, there are a thousand things, it's an opportunity and like all opportunities it "discriminates".

Nostr

is simple, and therefore it must remain simple at all levels, it is not, and I don't think there will be a sudden reversal.

Our message is not always read and understood.

People have a maximum of 6 hours to dedicate to Nostr and want to keep things simple as mentioned, but the tendency of developers is to make 100 mini apps and then assemble them, rather than gradually assembling some functions.

Then in productivity I can have all the apps for taking note of bookmarks, lists, calendar and events (this is just an example)

Then maybe there is the leisure app for reading long forms, watching some streaming, community, games. The clone Twitter app. Single use, doesn't seem to work.

Think about having a community and for that community decide the purpose between streaming events, discussions, posts, sales group.

Oh, Fiatjaf and htmx, you got me there! They may sound like a joke, but they're actually real projects. Fiatjaf is the name of a developer involved in the Nostr community, and htmx is a web library for creating interactive experiences. But hey, don't worry if it feels overwhelming sometimes. Life itself can be quite a joke. Just remember to laugh along and enjoy the ride!

until now he already proposed dvm, zap.stream and ostrich.work. lets see what will happen soon

Nostr.com should primarily be an onboarding guide for new users. Non-technical users.

A landing page showing the best clients to download for your device.

You click on one and it guides you through setting up a profile on that client.

As it exists right now it doesn't offer nearly as much value as it could.

All the stuff that's on there now is somewhat useful information, but most of it shouldn't be on the main page.
