Just made this possible. Copy the note id using the chain icon and use this URL to share it:
nostrgram.co/#[noteid]
It will open the thread view and scroll to the highlighted note in the thread (if it's a reply).
Example (I have to make it an image or it will load the quote note editor in NostrGram):

Nice! 😍
Whatever URL you set for the default background image will be shown in all the feeds except for the profile feed (and notifications, which shows your banner) for profiles that have a banner set.
NOSTRGRAM UPDATE - DEFAULT BACKGROUND IMAGE FOR FEEDS
If you're like me and *loving* the full-page background images on profiles that have their banner set, then you'll love this update, too. After seeing the beautiful (and kick-ass) background images, the plain black backgrounds on the other feeds were rather boring. So I added an (optional) setting (⚙️ icon) to let you set the default background image URL. The image below is the one I'm using. **SO MUCH BETTER**
Give it a try at https://nostrgram.co/
Already in NostrGram? Refresh the page to get the update.

Only if the client sets a "client" tag when events are posted. If it doesn't (most don't) then there's no way to know which client is responsible I'm afraid.
That's it. It just loads the Kind 3 events, lets you pick which one to restore and broadcasts a new Kind 3 from the contacts from that event (not the relays, it doesn't change that even though those are also stored on the kind 3 event). It's really simple.
Now that I've implemented full screen profile banners I don't like looking at the plain black background of the other feeds. I think I'll add an option in Settings for the default background image url. Thoughts?
😆 I saw so many reports of lost followings and knew how easy it was to fix the problem! I had no ethical choice but to create the tool lol
Just login to NostrGram and click on the Following history icon to restore your following list. Here's a video explaining how to do it:
🙏 for the ⚡
Some mobile browsers refuse access to the clipboard. I'm not sure why. Good idea about having an alternative means to copy/paste.
The errors are uncatchable errors from fetching the Nip05 verification. Some hosts are blocking null CORS requests from webapps so the fetches fail. Unfortunately not much I can do about that. They should be allowing null CORS access to the nostr.json file if they want to be a Nip05 host. I'll look into the note that won't load.
NostrGram will restore your following list for you now. Just pushed an update for that. Here's a video explaining how to use the new tool: https://jonleger.com/nostr/nostrgram_following_restore.mp4
Can you reply with the note ID that won't load for you in NostrGram? Just click the chain icon and paste the result in a reply. Thanks!
