Msm are all propaganda rags. There's so much fiction woven into their spin that I may as well be reading The Onion or The Babylon Bee. But at least those are funny sometimes. I listen to individuals I've come to trust over time and consider the opinion of sound money minded people. That works much better for me.
I'm not talking about individual voices I respect. I'm talking about news media. They're just propaganda rags. If something actually important happens people discuss it here rather than spinning the government narrative.

The DM isn't visible to anyone but you (and yes, still encrypted). It's showing you a notification for the "Like" in the DM because NostrGram does not yet filter reactions to DMs from the notifications.

Just pushed a NostrGram update that allows you to broadcast any note to all your write relays. If you see a note that you want to make sure it's written to your relays to get good coverage (or if you were having trouble with one or more of your relays and want to "repost" your own note(s) to them to make sure it's there) click the ellipsis (...) in the note actions and choose "Broadcast".

My understanding was that "Boost" reposted a note to all your write relays so it could be better discovered?
I hear that. I'm not there yet, though. I think Likes play an important sentiment role to let the author know they're moving in a direction you appreciate, whereas zaps let them know they've really hit the mark. I could be wrong, though. In a Bitcoin standard world perhaps likes will disappear because value-4-value has become so strong. 🤷
