When trying to orange pill people I have resorted to asking am I going to have to drag EVERYONE kicking and screaming over the finish line? I’m met with looks of stunned silence or sometimes nervous laughter. I might as well give this tactic a fair shot. Appeals to logic and self interest don’t seem to work 🤷🏼♀️

Participated in my first local (sort of) Bitcoiners gathering today at Bitcoin Walk Seattle. Found them on the Orange Pill app. Very enjoyable way to spend a Saturday.
The sun and moon are the same size and very close to us, so as they follow their circular track, different parts of the earth are lit/dark, creating timezones
This is also why when you go way up north, the sun is out nearly 24hrs a day, and never sets in some places
The seasons are caused by the sun/moon track narrowing and widening their path annually - attached a few videos below to explain further!

I’m still stumped by star trails in the southern “hemisphere.” My understanding is that while different constellations, they rotate in the same manner as in the north.
I once saw a video where they had a clear, domed paperweight on top of a flat earth map and it demonstrated how the reflections of stars around the outer edges would give the impression of rotation but I can’t find it now.

I have the base of a business idea (pivot?) for #GME. There’s a need for more bitcoiners to run their own node. It’s a daunting proposal for those of us less tech-y. Would be great if there were brick and mortar locations that gave classes on setting up and running nodes and/or various home miners. If #GME goes Saylor model into Bitcoin, they could sell nodes and miners out of their stores and have regular classes that teach people how to. I know I’d go! Been wanting to run a node for a while but there’s so much noise out there it’s hard to know where to start. I’ll bet I’m not the only one. I agree. It seems to have resulted in irreversible wide scale brain atrophy and even stunted people’s brain development at critical phases of their lives. The window where this development could occur has since closed. Just about everyone living in a modern society seems to have been affected to one degree or another.
