Cacao yogurt was the request this morning, but it sounded like he was saying "taco cha-lit yogurt". Plain + plain Greek yogurt with organic cacao mixed in. Fructose intolerance so the vanilla yogurt's a no go for the little boy.

What's mushroom ketchup? This sounds interesting.
It's a rainy day on the Gulf Coast. So I'm catching up on some projects in the kitchen. I like to buy bags of onions, use the peals in bone broth and chop the rest up and put it in the freezer. These are all barnyard mix. I'm not sure which hen is laying the grey ones yet. The Sexlink/Easter egger mix lays a greenish blue. Then I have Rhode Island/Easter egger, Barred Rock/Easter Egger, and California Tan/Easter egger mixes.
This bush is a type of hibiscus. I tried to chop it down when we first moved here because it grows into the door way and the screen door can't shut. It just comes back. Since then, I've found out that the little flowers make a tiny fruit and the flowers can be used to make some sort of tincture for heart health. And as I've started sitting outside for the sunrise I've discovered the humming birds love it. Needless to say it's a favorite now.

Banana, raw milk, vanilla, organic cocoa powder, maple syrup, 2 fresh yard eggs. Frozen and they dig it out.

So they're more green/blue green. We incubated some eggs from some of our hens: Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock, California Tan, and Black Sexlink. The daddy was an Easter Egger. So it's a "barnyard mix" as they call it. I'll try to get a better picture of the colored eggs next time.

I've been trying to get outside for the sunrise each morning to get my face in that early morning 🌄. I forgot I moved the bus in the backyard to put the chicken feed away yesterday so it's a little different view today. 😅 Did you know we need few spectrum uv rays? And that the sunrise is most beneficial in helping our body know it's time to wake up and start your day? It can energize your body better than coffee!
