I want to reference to future blocktime, in stead of calendar dates, but my mind needs a tool to change to this new paradigm of time referencing.
Is there a calendar (app?) that extrapolates #Bitcoin block height to specific dates in the future, or do I have to ask nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft to make one for us?
Good point, it will likely take a lot of time, perhaps more than a generation for this mindset to adapt to the new paradigm.
I was thinking about WhatsApp, because it's an awesome and controversial story. When comparing to Damus (ignoring differences in protocol), there difference with WhatsApp is that it is a client that doesn't allow users to send and receive messages to other clients of the same protocol. This gave it extra power in having first mover advantage, but it makes it inoperable.
I think next to the properties you name there is also the potential of allowing for a low threshold experience because Nostr only requires one verification that is then inter-operable over the whole width of the protocol.
For now, but don't you think this can be resolved?
Cool thanks for sharing, I'll read it after I finish Economics in one Lesson by Hazlitt.
I've experienced many cultures while visiting many countries. I can reasonably conclude that none of the countries I visited are better overall. Every culture has beautiful and ugly aspects. Choosing a country to live in is a compromise, because you can't have everything.
Visiting the US for years and months on end I've met many beautiful people there. Americans can be warm and generous, funny and full of wonderful stories. Its countryside is beautiful like most places on earth. Though it struck me to find that the US is a broken country that has nothing to celebrate. Almost like a corpse that is celebrating its vitality. If I would choose to live in the US, I would do so because of its beautiful though often somewhat obese people. Not because of its freedom, that which I can find in abundance in most other countries.
Happy 4th of July.
Missing a hand already I see.
I'm not worried that most Nostriches are dudes because most of us are fathers.
This is a great idea nostr:note1p3hshyfzk4f6hps3ye402a5z5kj5knel3erwa3yp0nncr4gjjzas27tnrj
I just finished the 7th Property and The Sovereign Individual (an absolute must read). I just started reading Economics in One Lesson by Hazlitt. After that I'll read The History Of Money by Weatherford.
It specifically happens with accounts I follow. Some of that data is not transmitted somehow.
Do you know how this happens with some of the pfp's?
