they don't need to sell the bitcoin to pay off the debt .. I mean that they can do that simply by printing more dollars 😄 .. that situation will never come though ..
the idea here is to leverage the scarcity of btc .. if USGov hoards btc ( without revealing to the market ) the price of Bitcoin will go up cuz of a new natural buyer .. but it will shoot through the roof on the news ..
if such a thing happens - one million Bitcoin will serve as asset to balance 30 trillion dollars of debt ..
btw Russia and China are already doing it - instead of btc they are buying Gold .. works eitherways .. but btc being new has greatest potential of exponential rise ..
so it's not a bad idea ..
The saddest thing is when a Bitcoiners doesn't get #nostr ! What a fail ..

I use cashapp to send sats to alby .. no fees unless you wanna send more than 100 k sats .. which I never ..
Religion comes in handy when there are no obvious answers .. (when there are it becomes science )
For example - what happens after death - a hopeless answer is you are dug into a grave or burned .. or whatever ..
A more hopeful answer is - your soul is reborn .. may be in a better body .. just like you change clothes , soul changes bodies .. of course it is not proven ..but if it helps you over the grief or be less scared of eventual demise - there is no harm accepting it as a base line ..
Besides - religion tries to underscore good practices - honesty is good - help thy neighbour .. turns out these things pay you back .. they are good not cuz religion said so - religion underscores them cuz they are good 😊

Why Nostr?
We regularly hear from both listeners and podcasters that the social features in Fountain are a great way to discover content that’s worth listening to.
When you support a podcast, or comment on an episode, your message is surfaced to your followers in the Fountain home feed and anyone that sees these can add the content to their library.
But this came with a few problems. When you first start using Fountain you wouldn’t have any followers so your posts wouldn’t get seen. If you wanted to share something you were listening to, you had to choose between leaving a comment on Fountain, or sharing on another social platform.
Today we are excited to announce a massive update to Fountain that solves these problems with Nostr:
- You can bring your existing profile and followers to Fountain
- Your boosts and comments will be surfaced in other Nostr clients
- Posts shared from other Nostr clients relating to audio will appear in your feed
- Conversation and interactions now flow freely across multiple apps

It is hard to overlook if the purpose was to reach more people !
