We used to plant after Mother’s Day but now it’s closer to Memorial Day weekend
We do this too and it’s amazing. I pulled eggs out from glassed eggs last year and you couldn’t even tell the difference from fresh
Getting crust ready for homemade pizza night. My favorite recipe is from A Farmish Kind of Life. We just quadruple it to let everyone do their own. Homemade sauce later, then topped with cheese, ground sausage from the hog we did in the fall and for me, freeze dried peppers from the garden. So good! Also, it doesn’t feel right measuring flour in anything but my antique measuring cup. https://afarmishkindoflife.com/homemade-pizza/

We have a sign in our yard that says “dandelion farm” on it. I love seeing them in my yard. We made dandelion jelly for the first time last year and loved it
Ha yes I remember that
Honestly I’m not sure where I got them originally it was a few years ago. But I think I just searched online. They are pricey but worth it. The amount of tomatoes it gets is, well, crazy!
Well all I can say is how I did it last time seemed to work 😂 I put the seeds in water for a few days and took out the bad ones. Rinsed and then let them sit on a plate to dry and stored them.
Hope you find someone! We have done some processing workshops here in Illinois but I originally learned from YouTube
My seedlings have been so different this year. Had to reseed everything because nothing germinated. Finally seeing things pop up!
Thanks! Followed them
Last season was my first time saving tomato seeds. One in particular was the very expensive crazy Barry cherry that my kids devour every year. I am so excited to see them sprouting! #grownostr #growgrowgrow #seedlings #tomato
