I love rainy weather days… perfect for baking

Today was the day to shovel out the chicken coop.

I moved it with my Grillo two-wheel tractor and power barrow attachment since I couldn't get the truck and trailer where I needed it to go. Measured in pick up loads, there must have been about four loads worth.

Rabbits love comfrey! I have been growing comfrey for 3 years now and it is one of my favorite fodder plants. I give it to my rabbits about every 3 days. It does great growing around the base of fodder trees.

Rainy day here on the "compound", so it's a lazy morning, then the kids and I are going to a birthday party after lunch. I could drop them off for the Mario Brothers movie, but they've already seen it, and I haven't, so I'll go too.

This will be the second movie I've seen in a theater this month, but only the 4th since 2020. I enjoy the experience of going, but not enough to go see movies either the kids, my girlfriend or I are really into.

So proud of my incredible wife @beckjeanc went last year from not having a clue what she was in for to this year, getting up sharing her 5 min story and then later on doing an hour session on female entrepreneurship

Beef on the left, pork on the right. Most have Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke added, until I ran out of Worcestershire. I did 2 pounds of beef each with summer sun blend and bonfire blend. 1.6 pounds each of ground pork with porky power and hot & spicy rooster dust. 1 pound ground beef with random stuff including my own hot pepper dust. And then mixed all of the leftovers of each that weren’t enough to squirt out of the jerky gun. Haven’t tasted that one yet.

May Apples and Morels its all timing, but there is some connection IMHO. Good hunting, they really like undisturbed
