They get a lot bigger and then crunchy. It’s really interesting how they change! I’ll post pictures when they are done

Freeze dried candy is a big seller and novelty item. Gummie bears in particular grow in size and become crunchy when put into a freeze dryer. I’ll post pictures when they are done

They are so insane! One of my favorite insects. I can’t wait for my kids to experience it when they are freaking everywhere 😂 my brother and I were little when one happened and we used to build them brick mansions and pour them in with handfuls 😂
Next year we are supposed to have the 17 year emergence. We weren’t living here 17 years ago but I remember the last one well. It was so loud you couldn’t talk outside and there were cicada shells everywhere. We actually haven’t heard any yet this year and usually we hear a few.
That’s a good question that I don’t know the answer to 😂 I seem to see the same people so it’s probably nothing
I didn’t! I transplanted it from my parents yard. I will attempt to save the seeds though and plant more here
Actually maybe it’s just a plebstr thing. When I click the main page where it shows your mentions those follow numbers are not the same as when I click my name and see edit profile
Not that it matters but my follower and following count is not the same between #damus and #plebstr and I’m wondering if that’s what everyone else has noticed

Boo my zapper is broken
This is not a lot but it has taken me forever to get to this. Rewriting my 70k word novel, changing POV, plot lines and really loving how it’s turning out. But it’s so hard to focus and concentrate. It’s either too quiet, too loud and I keep thinking of all the millions of “real things” I should be doing. All while remembering to enjoy the process. #grownostr #writingcommunity
