The stainless steel baking sheets we use have a 1โ lip around on all sides. Well make sweet potato fries them at 400 degrees. They twist a little in the oven, but warp back when they cool down.
We decided to take a break from the farm after how busy this spring was... Meaning we were down to our cows and a some sheep (instead of all that plus gardening, broiler chickens, and pigs).

We didn't end up with ducks, but rather white Chinese geese.
Truth is I've been loosely keeping my eye out specifically for this breed for about a year or so now and a listing just happened to come up a short drive away.

I made some strawberry wine and some blueberry wine a few times. Completely amateur, not even a hobby, but it turned out well enough to place at the local fair. Once it is all done fermenting after a couple weeks, it does not taste good. Itโs amazing, over the course of a year and racking a few times as the must settles out, how it goes from bad tasting to delicious.

I donโt want to do end grain for this. It totally changes the look and I wouldnโt be cutting on the countertop, Iโd be using a cutting board. (Maybe with the scraps I could make an end grain cutting board.) 7โ lengths would get me the whole length, but could do smaller lengths butted together if I had to. Iโd be gluing face grain to face grain or edge grain to edge grain. Depends what I can get. If the grain runs diagonally itโs kind of half face and half edge.
