I live in Northern Ohio with my family. We raise ducks for eggs to sell & eat. My interests include raising ducks, gardening, cryptocurrency, and precious metals. We make and sell fresh-made meat-based dog- and cat-food.

Good morning, @ ‘thatdudeluke’!

Good morning, NOSTR! My calendar says it is Friday! (Yes, I checked this time...) I'm about to brew a pot of coffee and make my task list for today. I wish you a prosperous and productive day!

Did you see the BTC price this morning? I hope you DCA'd what you could afford to spend during that dip!

Anyway, go out and make it a great day!

Hey, Luke! I hope you had a good day today! I don't remember seeing you on NOSTR today, so I thought I'd see if you're OK. (Could be my horrible memory just didn't pick up seeing you.) I hope your day was good, and you're having a good evening!

What a bummer! I'm sorry to read this. I hope things go well with exchange/warranty (assuming it is new...).

I now have the privilege to assemble a PC for my neighbor. He is having me build a PC so he can edit wedding/graduation photos and video from his DJI drone.

PC Specs are:

- CPU: Intel Core 7

- RAM: 32GB

- SSD0: 500GB

- SSD1: 4TB

- MOBO: ASUS Z890-PLUS

- OS: WINDOWS 2011 PRO

You’re the first person I know of (other than Nicole Sauce and her friends in TN ) who has StarLink. I’d love to try it.

Great! That was a fast download! Mine is still downloading.😕 Download time keeps bouncing between 2 days & 9 days. Do you have cable internet? I have wireless internet by Verizon. The other alternative is SUPER-slow DSL.

Good night, NOSTR! I hope you had a good & productive day! Mine started with some routine (for me) bloodwork and a trip to Chinamart. After getting home, I did a few things around the house. Now it is time to put the ducks to bed (lock them in their coop), and go to bed. I don’t believe we’re going anywhere tomorrow, so it should be a relatively good and calm day.

Congrats! I thought of getting a radio license many years ago. I'm happy for you!

The problem with the last frame of that pic is that they’re usually attached to a myriad of ugly personalities…

I’m not sure how that works with Start9 (Linux). I use Windows machines. If you’re connecting a Windows machine to Start9 (Remote Desktop Connection), you can start the program and disconnect from the desktop session(Whatever was running on Start9 should continue as long as your user is logged in.). I hope this was helpful. Feel free to message back if you have more questions. My work background is IT/tech support.

I've done that a time or five. The process takes a few days witn internet available in my area. But is pretty straight-forward. The biggest thing in my experience is: Make sure you have enough free disk space. I'm not sure, but I think you'll want ~800GB to download the full blockchain.

Another tip - leave the program open on a machine you rarely power off. BTC core does not handle it well if you shutdown (Windows) instead of clicking "File>Exit". Not following this instruction has caused my installation of BTC core to become corrupted/stop working.

Enjoy being your own bank! I appreciate all who run BTC nodes.
