I live in Northern Ohio with my family. We raise ducks for eggs to sell & eat. My interests include raising ducks, gardening, cryptocurrency, and precious metals. We make and sell fresh-made meat-based dog- and cat-food.

I like buying on Nostr and will do so more going forward.

Thank you for the recommendations!

I’ve not enjoyed picking up the casings as much as making them empty… I haven’t learned the art of refilling them, either.

Thank you for sharing what you do. Your work if beautiful. The green stones (opals?) are fiery!

I hope you enjoy your day!

Everything you say here is true. I went from a healthy 41-year old guy in the IT field to being a stroke victim overnight. Thankfully I can still walk, talk, get around like most people, but my eyesight was affected, and so was my "working memory". So I don't drive anymore, which means I also don't go to work. I miss the freedom of being able to drive, and I miss getting my slave wage...it paid much more than SSDI does. But I'm alive and have a good, loving family.

It really sucks to not have the eyesight necessary to target shoot anymore.

My guns collect dust now. I keep them in hopes to pass them on to my kids, though there are times I wonder if it would be better for me/them to convert them to cash/BTC and pass that on as their inheritance instead... For now, they stay & I get to look at them and smile.

It looks lonely. It wants to go home with you!

I have had two of their pistols and a sub2000. I like that the sub is so portable and uses handgun mags.

Good night, NOSTR Friends! I'm going to turn in for the night. It has been a long day and I'm ready to hit the hay.

I wish you all a good night with good sleep, and I look forward to tomorrow - the Weather Channel forecast says it is supposed to be 81 and sunny. That sounds wonderful to me. Good night, All!

Now I remember whey I was sooo ready to graduate 12th grade! School is mentally draining! I mean just being AT homeschool group is mentally draining...and there's not much left in my head to drain! (depending on who you ask...) I'm thinking about turning in early tonight.

I just helped load 2x loads of firewood in a pickup truck (all of 2024-2025 firewood is gone now!) and took care of the ducks. They were happy to be put outside after being shut inside until after we got home around 5:00pm.

Nice! Looks like you’re into cast iron. Is that pan on the RH rear burner a cake pan? My wife says it’s be great for cobbler. I have and use my grandpa’s old cast iron for cornbread and for cobbler. Nothing cooks like cast iron! I love it.
