100% true, every person I have hired out of college was mostly useless and had to be retrained. Worse most were entitled and took a long time to learn to serve others and think critically about problem solving. Give me a creative, motivated person that hustles to get their A+ or Security+ over a summer any day.
The Patreon approach is much more scalable and less corruptible. The BlockFi, Gemini Earn and FTX blow ups especially I am sure don’t feel good. Having personally benefited from your content for 5 years in a way that has changed my paradigm for observing the world, even $50 a month seems like a small contribution. I say this after being impacted by the BlockFi bankruptcy as a result of your podcast. Keep churning out more content. Invite folks to become Patrons. They will come.

It seems like most if the Bitcoin and Fintwit signal / content has fled to nostr and the algorithms are trying to backfill with garbage content.
