I love your sentiment #[1] but disagree with your premiss. You say faith is belief in something you can’t see and touch, then later you talk about using your past accomplishments as evidence. Those past accomplishments are exactly those things that you saw felt and touched. You can believe in them because you did them and based that you can have faith that you’re capable of at least accomplishing as much or more.
Faith is not delusional, it is evidence based in every respect.
Delusion is what #[2] defines as “p retending you know something you don’t know”.

#10 Black Sabbath – We Sold Our Soul For Rock’N’Roll
Starting the list off with a compilation/best of CD this album features the very best of Black Sabbath. By the time I came around to this one I had already been fully enmeshed in grunge and just having picked up a guitar for myself I began learning to play with a cover band (I was mostly a roadie helping set up and tear down sets) and learned many of the songs on this one thus realizing where all the metal bands got their influence. We Sold Our Soul For Rock’N’Roll blew me away with the combination of raw power and intricate playing along with the vocal power of Ozzy. Probably the biggest surprise for me was for all the raw metal power in many of the riffs, Sabbath also has a bluesy feel in many of the songs like “The Wizard”, “Fairies Wear Boots”, and “N.I.B.”.
We Sold Our Soul For Rock’N’Roll was my gateway into 60’s and 70’s rock, what had at the time recently become Classic Rock.
That’s checkmate! Her first win against me. #chess ♟️👏
Two things i agree with that stand out, money and theater. Our government today, and back to a point, has always been about elites getting paid by elites for favors, and disguising it in theater for our approval.
Unfortunately, it works so well.

It’s probably a lot to do with who I follow at the moment, been here a couple weeks so far, maybe. I’d say 40% of what I see are BTC memes/conversations, 30% are nostr development memes/conversations, 20% are zap/zapathon related, and 10% are other memes or varied conversations. (Very rough estimates)
All of this is valid content and early days type stuff. Nothing wrong with any of it specifically. Perhaps what I’m trying to get at is this all seems directed to a specific audience, which may be the point of it all as with no central authority it will be soley up to the users and then the relay managers to direct content. As I was writing my initial reply to your post I had the realization that it also falls to me directly to supply at least part of the missing content I’m refering to. I may just be now realizing how passive I’ve been in such matters.
I should also not assume this platform is meant for general audiences, although I did get the initial impression this is on people’s minds here. If there is supposed to be room for all with little to no content moderation (relay dependent) then I feel that implies a desire of the community at large to have the majority of tweeties, facers, and the rest to migrate as well.
