Everyone please tell me π«π€
1) What is your favorite thing about Nostr?
2) What do you hate about Nostr?
3) What do you missing on Nostr?
Each reply will get a zap (except bots and limit 100k sats) π

1) the community and innovation
2) assholes who rightly have freedom of speech but are annoying af (thanks for mute and block buttons)
3) better DM experience and privacy
π«thanks, those are good points
1) Love the community and people that I have met on nostr.
2) hellthreadsβ¦
3) definitely missing group chats.
πβ‘οΈπ€π€
Thanks π€
Btw there are group chats, some of the clients have already them implemented π§‘
Any clients on mobile that support group chats? Iβd love to check them out.
I want to change my response to number 2, lol AI chat bots pretty annoying. ππ€£
π PV man

1- friends
2- not having enough friends
3- how to get more friends
PV π«
π«we are here for you
1) freedom with no censorship or ads
2) battery consumption
3) messaging experience (DM, group chats, etc.)
1) lack of algos!!!! Total organic connecting.
2) hmmm. Spammy global feeds sometimes.
3) group chats and having read/unread notes organization in the stream/thread of followers notes.
Good points, thanks π«π€
1) being a pleb and having a chance to talk with some really brilliant people
2) I get lost tracking conversations or referring back to a post, should use bookmarks more but lost them all one time when I accidentally logged out of Damus. Lost in the threads.
3) a dashboard like service or whatever to manage all the features linked/related to using your nostr account.
1) Freedom: from imposed algorithms; to own my own data/identity; to zap
2) Inconsistencies between clients with things that seem fundamental (such as nevent vs. note ID, npub vs. nprofile, etc)
3) Smooth UX/UI when navigating between threads, replies, and back.
1) built by a community
2) that all we dream it could achieve has not being built yet
3) diversity of content
2) it takes time to built
3) i think its a lot about who you follow. But definitely there is a space for improvement
Anyways, thanks π«π€
1) social network without sucking dopamine and happiness out of you
2) people not realizing yet it's the future, but we get to enjoy it as raw as it is now .
3) people are missing, but they will come in due time ...
It takes time π€ We are still early π
1. Establish new connectivity between users, and gain experience for an innovation #nostr #puravida
2. I don't like people creating bot accounts just to get zap from free people #bot
3. I missed following you, but now I'm starting to like you #plebs
Are you sure you want to know? ππ€£ last time I tried that I almost got cancelled LOL
Im ready πhonest feedback is the best one
1,My favorite thing about Nostr is its historical significance and its impact. 2, Better web interface, iris is still shaky 3, decentralized individual data storage (pics, vids, etc)
shaky? what do you mean with shaky? π
1 The almost limitless opportunities the protocol embodies outside of monetary/ bitcoin use cases.
2 The primary focus on bitcoin, just grow the community, bitcoin adoption will follow.
3 People who are secundary focussed on bitcoin.
Can you elaborate more on 2)?. i dont think nostr have primary focus on bitcoinπ
1) No adds, no promoted bullshit, no hysterical bitching, no algo, no big brother, no ministry of truth, cool vibes!
2) Most peeps would probably hate how clunky onboarding process is, and jumping through hoops todo simple stuff like setting up a profile pic or lack of easy search for posting memes... Not me, I like the clunky, unpolished experience!
3) I miss functionality to get a notification when someone particular posts something.
I also miss Advanced Search
π€ππ»
1) The community π
2) The assholes, and opportunists that are looking to use the platform for manipulating users to their advantage !
3) More focus on privacy, and better communication from relay operators, clients, actors in the ecosystem to know how the data (notes, zaps,etc,..) in here is processed, is there any policies in place, etc..transparency if I may say.
Hi & PV π«΅ππ«π€π€
1) Freedom of speach with no censorship, great people, always a good mood, fantastic memes π , no advertising
2) Bots, Bots & Bots
3) a notification when someone replies direct to me, a lot of my badges are shown only as robots after the update (I like badges π ), scrolling to profiles makes my client often crash
The scrolling to profiles crashes are happening on which client? π
At first ... Thx a lot for the Zap π«΅ππ«π€!
To your question:
I'm a couch-chilling Nostrich that uses Amethyst π
πI was worried that its happening in plebstr client
Just saw that Plebstr is available for Android πππ!
Are there any known issues running two clients simultaneous on the same device? π€
I'm curious and would like to test it π!
Thx a lot for the Zaps Bro π«΅ππ«π€π
1) i appreciate being able to get connected with folks who are creative and innovative in ways we have not seen yet. Specifically, applying the usefulness of bitcoin.
2) It still has a high barrier to entry and has a way to go for mainstream adoption. But that comes with time.
3) I would say it is a unified platform - somewhere to be able to interact with multimedia like you can on traditional social networks. I think being able to show the value to more publishers and creators for true ownership and 100% income, which zaps is slowly solving.
I love Nostr because its creating a giving movement & spirit that anyone can join. It also encourages those who want to build for freedom to join forces and create their dream projects. Itβs still early stage to talk about whatβs missing in my opinion, but I see Nostr as the new internet so itβll always be WIP and weβll hopefully always see new developments π€πΌ- free perspective without zaps :)
nice π§‘π€
1. The community and where weβre headed
2. The UX can be a little frustrating at times
3. Lists and a way to prioritize my connections (I anticipate theyβll be connections for a long time)
My favorite thing is freedom.
My least favorite thing is seeing people post Twitter links
The thing missing is to incorporate live streaming.
Thanks π«π€
1. Freedom to express yourself and I love there is no Algo.
2. Bots, bots ruin the experience with their spamming and also when new comers join and Bitcoin maxis try to orange pill them right away, totally not cool.
3. I think NOSTR is missing simplicity.
3. That will come with a time. Clients needs better UX/UI, we are building plebstr with that state of mind.
Also there are definitely needed some improvements on a protocol π€
1/ I freely express myself like I never did because Iβm not afraid of being judged or being called out as dumb
2/ Literally none, it makes me realize other social media is just shit (pardon my language)
3/ Not sure how it means, missing feature on Nostr? But Iβm contented ππ
Gosto do modo de migração entre as plataformas e design. Odeio que algumas coisas ainda são complicados de usar.
1. itβs aspirational and community focused
2. thereβs still a lot of complexity that needs to be obscured away before the broader public will want to use it
3. a lot of twitter users that i miss but iβm hopeful theyβll eventually join!
it takes time to grow, we are super early π€ also complexity issues is something that we focus in plebstr
1. freedom
2. makes computer run hot, stalls often, not much response
3. automatic picture cut and paste
it is still better than anything else because of 1
Like your attitude π€
What client you use? They might be hear that it makes your computer run hot
iris.to
thank you
sometimes it does not do anything, you cannot even click on something, it is stalled. or it does not show any feed, just my own postings, nothing else. or it crashes and i can only see snap, have to reload. then it is better or worse. i have tried snort but i did not like it as much as iris
1. A decentralized social media platform that operates on bitcoin, sweet.
2. I hate that I canβt delete my post that are mistakes, still learning Damus.
3. I miss seeing Elon Muskβs tweets. π’
thanks π§‘π€
1) What is your favourite thing about Nostr?
Freedom, positive thoughts, tireless developers and zap, of course...
2) What can you dislike about Nostr?
The fact that I can't find other painters to interact with.
3) What do you miss about Nostr?
All the artists I follow on Instagram and Twitter, and TV series fans.
We are still early, it takes time to adopt π
1) love not getting flooded by the same tyoe of content because I clicked on it one time
2) there seems to be only one real type of content at the moment
3) vatiety of content
Early stages, Lots of growing to do
Can you elaborate more on one type of content please? π€
Wow! Sorry for all the typos.
Itβs probably a lot to do with who I follow at the moment, been here a couple weeks so far, maybe. Iβd say 40% of what I see are BTC memes/conversations, 30% are nostr development memes/conversations, 20% are zap/zapathon related, and 10% are other memes or varied conversations. (Very rough estimates)
All of this is valid content and early days type stuff. Nothing wrong with any of it specifically. Perhaps what Iβm trying to get at is this all seems directed to a specific audience, which may be the point of it all as with no central authority it will be soley up to the users and then the relay managers to direct content. As I was writing my initial reply to your post I had the realization that it also falls to me directly to supply at least part of the missing content Iβm refering to. I may just be now realizing how passive Iβve been in such matters.
I should also not assume this platform is meant for general audiences, although I did get the initial impression this is on peopleβs minds here. If there is supposed to be room for all with little to no content moderation (relay dependent) then I feel that implies a desire of the community at large to have the majority of tweeties, facers, and the rest to migrate as well.
Thanks for the clarification π
Well nostr firstly onboarded Bitcoiners, cause it was created in a space of Bitcoin (even that it can run without it). We are used to private/public key things, for general public is right now just too complicated. Conversions will be around things that community is. Right now its bitcoin, but once we are good to onboard anybody, the conversations will change. It takes time
1) Nostriches ππ«π€
2) Not being able to get enough sleep anymore π
3) Better search and relay management.
1. The human element of an online community is free to flourish unlike ever before
2. We havenβt seen hypernostrization yet π
3. Video calls π€·ββοΈ
Yet π€
1)freedom and zaps
2)twatter isn't a client yet
3)all the political bullshit I don't want to see, anyway
You dont want to see it π
1)protocol simplicity, decentralized, interoperable.
2)mobile clients take a lot of data, no solution for key loss/key change.
3) maybe some people outside of bitcoin/nostr community.
thanks π§‘π€
1) Not having an algorithm to feed me emotion provoking content. I feel like Iβm joy scrolling on here vs doom scrolling as compared with other social platforms
2) My world feed is full Chinese characters I canβt read and scam telegram links
3) Actual one tap zaps instead of having to open a LN wallet to zap people
