The Challenge of Praxeological Realism | JĂśrg Guido HĂźlsmann
"Like most of us in this room, I have never met Ludwig von Mises in person. I first encountered his ideas some 20 years after his passing. In what follows, I will first describe this encounter. And then I will zoom in on his book, Human Action, and explain why it embodies the research paradigm of praxeological realism and also what the challenges related to it are."
The Book That Made Me an Economist | Shawn Ritenour
"One of the great lessons of Mises's Human Action is that the institutions of the free societyâprivate property and sound moneyâmake up the environment enabling economic progress and hence economic flourishing."

https://mises.org/mises-wire/no-corporate-profits-dont-cause-inflation

> Progressives are claiming that corporate profits are one of the causes of inflation. However, if inflation increases consumer prices, it also causes production costs to rise. That is not a recipe for profitability.
Human Action: The Antidote to Progressivism | Joseph T. Salerno

âHuman Action is the foundational work of modern Austrian economics, and that is reason enough for reading it. But there is an equally compelling reason for carefully studying Misesâs great treatise. For it is the antidote to the real and immediate threat to human liberty and society, represented by the prevailing social philosophy of progressivism.â
Mises and Rothbard on Credit Contraction during a Downturn | Patrick Newman
"Read the great book of Mises. It's the foundation that all of us have tried to develop and defend: the praxeological edifice of economic theory."

Mottahedeh says they haven't actually billed him for this, but I would have some caution about following his methods.
If you don't want to pay tax, your best bet is to not file and keep your mouth shut (at least beyond close friends & family). Mottahedeh has made himself a target.
I agree

I do not vouch for the legal veracity of these claims (perhaps @siggy47 can weigh in), but it's very provacative.

Lizzy Takes The L (Bitcoin)
# Video Description
> In this video, I discuss how the US Senate has joined the House of Representatives and voted 60-38 in a bipartisan vote to pass a resolution, that overturns an old SEC accounting bulletin, that has made it prohibitively expensive for US banks and other financial institutions to custody Bitcoin and crypto.
> That SEC bulletin has required firms to record customer holdings of Bitcoin or crypto as liabilities on their own balance sheets, thus basically deterring most large US financial institutions from becoming Bitcoin custodians.
> If you actually want to protect consumers, then having most of the BTC for the spot BTC ETFs sitting at Coinbase Custody presents unacceptable single point of failure risks.
> If Biden signs this bill into law, then many US financial institutions will get in the game of Bitcoin custody and help to mitigate these concentration risks.
> As for me, I will continue to keep my BTC in my own personal bank in cold storage, using my Coldcard hardware wallet.

Given that so much information is stored in our car, what happens when we sell it? Do we just hand this sensitive information off to the next owner? And given the remote capabilities of modern cars, how do we make sure the previous owner can't still access our data when we buy a used car?
Here are steps you MUST take when you buy or sell a used car.
