In the short-term I guess it would make it more familiar and easier to switch, but I agree that I'm more excited about what can potentially be.
When I'm up to date on the latest happenings in Nostrland, I close the client and do something else because there's nothing else to see.

Interesting that I can now see amounts people have been zapped on snort.social. How is that information being pulled? Or is it being volunteered by the zapper?
I'm thinking that most zaps happen within or between custodial wallets. That said, I've been routing many more smaller transactions since the beginning of the year.
Are you thinking dodgy in terms of privacy? It's something we've thought about extensively. Mission control data does not contain payment outcome, forwarding info or channel balance. The utility of it drops off over time, too. I think it's a fair trade.
You'd probably get more sats for selling your mission control data to lnnodeinsight.com than in routing fees
