I feel like telling someone to “check their financial privilege” is a bit loaded and puts people in an even more defensive posture. That said, one can definitely point to bitcoin making a difference around the world, one can also point to plenty of cases of absurdist definancialization in the west. Or even better point to a story of how bitcoin helped you in some tangible “non-speculative investment” way.

After a few days of wrestling with FOMO mania on MSTR, I have come to a realization - the fiat clownworld market is fomoing into MSTR because MSTR has Bitcoin. Yet as Bitcoin is finite, any Bitcoin that I buy is Bitcoin that MSTR now CANNOT buy.
Fiat brains are scrambling into the MSTR USD trade, while literally anyone who wants to is free to acquire the asset that MSTR itself is continuously diluting shareholder in order to fomo into. This alone should tell us everything we need to know.

Favoring MSTR over Bitcoin is one of the most absurd distortions imaginable and it is wild to be alive to see it.

And this desire to saving money and improve personal finances is such a strange sensation for most that they are seeking council from “financial psychologists” to confirm that there savings feeling and behaviors are ok. Bitcoin not mentioned at all, of course.
