Best part of waking up is earbud in your cup.

Crazy. That is a powerful image to compare where we now are to where we used to be.

A colleague at work said with a smile, "Vaccines are amazing!" They have become a political litmus test.

Sounds like a good morning! I tried to zap you some sats, but you don't have a lightning address set up yet.

Welcome! I am interested in learning about cashu, too. I rely on more technical people to make a path. ; )

The #introduction is a good way to start. Sometimes it feels like you are posting in a void, but I think it depends on the time of day and topic.

K. I like "pasties" too. Cornish common fare and Yooper soul food. I will certainly go out of my way to get them. https://www.foodiewithfamily.com/yooper-pasties/

Don't really care about you eating a worm, but zapped for childhood memories. There was an old man im my neighborhood that had a sign posted sayimg "Red Wigglers $2." He had framed pit covered with a lid. Inside were leaves. He used a pitchfork anf a shovel to fill a plastic container.

Debian is pretty reliable for servers and easy to find support.

I used Ubuntu server for years, but have used NixOS on the server for the last two years. But this would be like jumping into the deep end, so I wouldn't recommend it to start.

I'd say Debian or Ubuntu are a good place to start because you'll find lots of documentation and guides.

Are you planning to carve up different partitions on that one disk? You'll want to create a partition just for /home. And you could make 2-3 other partitions in anticipation of installing different distros.

Work carefully! Double-check the partition layout with 'lsblk' to make sure you don't install a distro to the wrong location.

I've been considering getting set up with fold, just as a way to bring my wife along. I like the idea of setting up payments for regular expenses and watching over time to see if it was wise to invest this money to BTC on a regular basis. Again, as a way for family members to learn about Bitcoin.

Any suggestions other than Fold? I have Strike, but something with a debit ir credit card would help since it's familiar territory.

The secret edits are creepy and feel dystopian. Didn't John Deer have to reverse course on their plans for essentially "renting" their expensive tractors to farmers? They wanted service contracts and were selling high priced maintence manuals, but I think some of this was undone when the onboard computers were cracked and reverse engineered.

Oh, man, I miss those thunderstorms in Michigan. Visiting this summer and it's when my kids get to experience a good thunderstorm when we're there.

I think water is created when fat and is burned (metabolic water). A camel's hump is a store of fat, not a big bag of water. Must be same with bears.
