Some day you'll have a teen and they'll get a license, and they'll break something on your car. Don't get mad. This is an opportunity to take them to a "pull a part" junk yard and teach them how to do some pretty basic repairs on the cheap. In this case it was replacing a mirror. $25 and less than 1 hr total time. Tools? Trim tool and socket set. Confidence boosted.
Oh, and don't let them drive "the nice car" when they're still learning.

You should read Clavell's books. The Hong Kong ones are kinda linked together. My face was definitely King Rat (which they did make a movie of back in 1965 that was well regarded).
Hopefully they redo more of his books into quality films/series.
The best horror movies are the ones you don't know walking into are going to be a horror movie. This happened to me when I saw Event Horizon in the theatre. I thought it was just gonna be a sci fi space film.

Just fueled up the truck today... Should last the next, ahem, three days or roughly 1900 miles. For those actually wondering, I'm very fuel efficiency conscious and in the summer I can average over 8mpg (today was 8.5mpg with a 40,000lbs load in the Midwest, mostly highway, a few small towns with lights).

Shooter is the son of country legend Waylon Jennings and has probably the best DJ show that covers an eclectic mix of music, quite a lot that he produces and plays on. I'm full album roughly every 10 years (the time it takes for TOOL to put a new album out).
Which also means you can't delete what you've done. You can request, and you can trust... but it's likely really truly gonna live forever. Sounds like an absolute banger to keep politicians off the protocol!
