[ENG/GER] NOT a bitcoiner/stacker/maxi. I am here to have a damn good time! Rabbithole conniseur; I enjoy random stuff. :D Ex-Furry, (close to) blind, hobby developer/sysadmin, waifu enjoyer, long hair fetish (#hairjob). I sometimes talk about NSFW stuff; because fucking is fun =) (DMs always open.)

Oooooooh so this is about the "Faketoshi" stuff I glimpsed about in the sidebar. Interesting o.o

... does a chroot count? XD Because that is where it's running.

Still, valid point, and why I am looking to migrate my coinage stuff completely into VMs; btc/cln+plugins will go into LXC, the rest into docker. Putting CLN plugins into docker is annoying so I will just take the in-between way. o.o (And unfortunately, I need four plugins for zeus, zapping, getting zapped, and my zap address...)

Hey nostr, I have some nodes to sell!

Not only could you get some solid hardware (even nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll started selling some of these), but you also get my time & expertise. We’ll figure out how you need me to spend my time to help you - I am looking to be a resource to plebs trying to navigate migrating away from a rpi, devs looking to cleanup their digital environment, or enterprises looking to scale their solutions.

Laptop & desktop purchasers will be guided on installation, setup, & maintenance of their new physical & virtual servers! Proxmox is FOSS software we will use to allow for the commoditization of all of your machine’s resources, allowing you to get the most out of your purchase. With one physical machine, you'll be able to cram a dozen virtual ones inside while I'll show you how to manage their compute/memory/storage requirements and interactions.

These are used ebay purchases, I'm not trying to profit off the hardware, just stacking sats with my time. Shipping or pickup at #chibitdevs included. Until I offload this hardware and complete the hourlies, I’ll be restricting my assistance to these buyers. But, I'll likely eventually offer support for byo hw/sw.

https://btcpay.dimi.gg is now live, please chat with me before a purchase if you have any questions. Payjoin enabled.

List of items?

I need new hardware...

Holy crap is this ATM ugly. xD Like, not gonna lie, it looks old and antiquated O_o

Makes our puny ATMs here in germany look outright fashionable... o.o; (never thought I'd write that, ever.)

He did sorta offer me to, instead of holding a presentation about picking the right hardware and software components for a made-up customer, I could write an essay about why ARM is a thing. I might just take him up on that offer.

Should he retract, I swore to myself to write the longest, most technical explanation to picking soft- and hardware for a customer that I possibly can - and present it, as such. xD

So either he makes my life interesting, or his own about to become a nightmare of technobabble :D

This "testing out" sadly doesn't exist. Before signing up, I could have instead chosen to skip one of the three years ahead... however, due to my visual impairment, I chose not to, so that I could adapt to a school with me being the only visually impaired person there and find my way into how this school effectively "works".

For instance: In my old school, specified for visually impaired and blind people, we had at most 10 people in a class. In my new school, it's 26. Our rooms were smaller, thus the teacher was far easier to hear...in this new school, the classrooms are HYOUGE, bright as fuck and you are lucky to catch a phrase or two. x.x

Let alone the speer speed difference between a blind guy reading a document on his PC versus a normally sighted person merely glancing at a page. And I have to keep up with that. Well... technically. If I know that I already know what 80% of the topic is anyway, I forego the reading; too much hassle for too little return - even if the remaining 20% could have been interesting...

The paragraph at the bottom made me go "huh?"

EU funding something that is cruicial to cloud computing, on RISC-V... Interesting, I like this.

Good to know that although half my homeserver has died thus far and is barfing stack traces into dmesg, I can still be zapped XD

Credit where it's due, CLN is still in fact fully and completely online, bitcoind too, no matter how chaotic the server is right now.

Me, each morning when booting my work laptop and seing all the crap that got dumped to me over the weekend or while I had left.

Literally. Every. *Day.*

I don't have a valentine, I live alone. Most girls walk away from me because they think I just want to pass through or go past, making talking to them difficult on a whole different level xD

So! I will spend the rest of the day listening to techno, washing clothes and ... well, enjoy being a man. ;)

Gotta make the best of any, every and all situations, if possible!

bwahahaha... I could make some really cringy bitcoin maxi jokes, but i'd rather just enjoy the sound of this song. :D

why does a maxi not have a carpet in his home?

so they can't be rug pulled UwU

static const int... sounds like my singular remaining braincell after nearly half a year in my job. XD

That said, exactly what is going on? This sounds fkn hilarious and I want to observe!

Do they...

at least...

SMELL

what's cooking?

... i'll get my coat. XD

Not too much into this style, but its a great example of a "typical structure" and sound signature. :p

eeeeeeeeeeducatiooooooooooooooooon!
