Work on yourself. When bitcoin goes up, you don't want to be like the people who win the lottery and subsequently ruin their lives.

It takes virtue to handle significant wealth.

A number of people have harassed me for several years on end. The key attack is to attack me on my supposed personality flaws. They will attack me on a few bad events that happened in the midst of suffering harassment on a daily basis. All this is based in 20 years of lies being spread, no single person having the decency to confront me over what turn out to be numerous false accusations, and now, in the last 8 or so years, falsely representing situations as benign as contributing to open source projects. The number of lies and false accusations reach far over 50; too much to accurately keep track of. Essentially, any phrase, sentence, situation is twisted to fit their narrative. At this point, you're better off not believing anything, as this effort has reached an absolutely absurd level.

Remember when in times of global turmoil everyone would buy US treasuries as the "safe haven risk free asset?" Looks like those days are over.

If you're really high time preference, you'll only care about yourself.

Lower your time preference slightly, and you'll start caring about your family.

Lower it a bit more, your community.

Lower it further, your country/jurisdiction.

Lower it even more and you start caring about the world.

And this is real caring as in building stuff, not the fake kind which is just a bunch of cheap words.
