That is their only good album. But it's really, really, really good - especially the expanded versions. State of Love and Trust is amazing.
For all those people who dislike grunge...
I understand you now.

(But I still disagree with you)
Yes.
But it shouldn't be shouted. The neighbors don't need to hear that.
I imagine it'll manifest mostly as even more support for open borders. If the men of their native population don't want them, they'll shovel in millions until they find someone who does.
So, uh, warning I guess: I felt the need to get just a tad crass in this one. Not too bad, but sometimes you have to say what no one else is saying.

I wanna be, like, Andi Hug to my kids (minus the brain cancer). If my kid says to his friends "my dad can beat up your dad," I want him to be correct. Maybe I won't ever get to Hug's level, but dang it I ought to try for those boys.

Snek is a good boi but he's s reformed, not Lutheran.
I don't know if you know this about me, but I would prefer to jump into a swimming pool full of fleas than be a calvinist, let alone pretend to be one.
Forget Dr Seuss. Forget Mother Goose.
Get kids silly books about caboose.

We're reuploading a reading+chat I did on Tobit.
Next week's episode is another 3 hour one, and it's taking a lot of editing sorry
Siri, play All Along the Watchtower. Loudly.
Siri, call the plumber.
Siri, CALL THE PLUMBER.
Siri, play Adagio for Strings and call a cleanup crew. It's the Tet offensive in this bathroom and I'm going full arms-out-Willem-DeFoe-in-Platoon here if you know what I mean

Charlie Atlas is my favorite bodybuilder. Aside from the fact that his physique is something a nattie can accomplish (unimpressive by today's standards), he also *taught* people how to do his stuff, and anyone can do it anywhere. He also taught methods that were healthy.
A hundred reps: you get hypertrophy, but you also get endurance.
Self resistance: you can adjust the tension to prevent injury.
It works and it's awesome.

Shout-out to the Church Fathers and Luther and everyone else who's made liturgy without help from computers. I get to make an absolute mess out of a word file before cleaning up and organizing it into something coherent. Back then, those guys had to get it right the first time to avoid wasting ink or parchment.
SUNDAY MATERIALS UP NOW!
For our homily, let's discuss the difference between sin and grace (besides the obvious). How do you compare them? How do they work differently in history?

Then let's get into St. James' war on sin - and thus his war on death, with a brief discussion on James 1:9-15

MORNING WORKOUT: CONDITIONING
Cartwheels, 15x5
Side roll pushups, 5x5
Side roll situps, 5x5
Karate stuff, 15-20 minutes
Stretching 15 minutes
Sometimes I have to experiment with an exercise that sounds and looks stupid...but might be just what I'm looking for. Side roll pushups are just that.
Lay face down on the ground, quickly roll over to the side until you're back on your stomach, then perform a strict pushup, generating tension in the whole body before doing so.
Since my workout phase is going to be done soon, I need to figure out how to accomplish the next goal: body hardening. The roll is good for practicing impact absorption, and generating tension to keep straight means the muscles get practice with acting as body armor.
Sound stupid? Yeah it does. But was it enjoyable? Absolutely.

Bodies that do so, do so to their judgment.
We're in for a wild ride, lemme tell you.
By the way, this means that any Christian body that says "we're not here to change the culture, we don't fight the culture wars" is pro-death.
"We proclaim Christ Crucified, not some social change to make people stop sinning!"
The fact that you don't do the latter means they won't listen to the former. Congratulations, you're being very supportive of the wicked and the wayward killing themselves.

It is a sinful impulse. I urge you to turn from that feeling and recognize the good in your life my friend
apnews.com/article/suicides-record-2022-guns-48511d74deb24d933e66cec1b6f2d545
America is more sinful than she has ever been.
America has the highest suicide rate she's ever had.
More sin means more suicide, because self destruction is the ultimate aim of sin. It really is that simple.
You can point me to all the awful things the government and culture are doing and how much they hate the average man. But there are countless instances in history of governments that hated their citizenry, oppressed the common man, etc., and guess what: the suicide rates were far lower. The "deaths of despair" are not fueled by victimhood so much as they are fueled by wickedness.
Also yes of course the AP blames guns, what else would they do?
On account of this, the Book of James is written to teach Christian how to wage war on death. That makes it the most masculine book of the New Testament.
Based.
