Been playing around at bit. Looks like libwebkit2gtk-4.0 and libwebkit2gtk-4.1 can co-exist together - try installing.
Wails binaries are small compared with Node apps but compatability (on Linux at least) is an obvious issue.
Yep, either install the webkit2gtk lib or try this release: https://github.com/ahanniga/greet/releases/tag/v0.1.0-beta
Here's a NOSTR client using Wails/Go: https://github.com/ahanniga/greet
Some bits missing, most notably Zaps β‘but it's usable. Will upload release binaries shortly.
Absolutely, Wave was awesome! Apache took it over but it's not moved much in 10 years.
Will upload in a day or so - still testing and ironing stuff out.
Nearly done bar a few bugs. No likes, Zaps or fancy media types at the moment though.

It's not just a client issue. The user also needs to check their relays implement NIP-09.... not all do.
I'm sure there are many looking at improving this. I put my TUI on the back burner to make way for a more functional desktop client using Wails/Go. It's all going forwards #[0]
Brilliant!
Take #2

Been playing with Gocui as a possible TUI desktop client. Early days...

Welcome #[0] great to see you here!

Amazing job Vitor ππͺ
Images could render automatically, astral.ninja does it.
What clients implement Markdown? We should ask them to remove Markdown support. Or just leave the bold/italic stuff in place and remove the weird stuff like []() and ## === ![]()
Like this: https://github.com/styppo/hamstr/pull/12
Agreed. For messaging apps (like this) keep formatting *very* basic. I love Markdown but it's not necessary here.
