the whole point of being able to block someone, for instance, on bluesky introduced a bunch of changes to their plans and architecture, because you have to control what someone else can see and not just what you see. People coming to nostr will have to trade that away.

right now nostr is pretty bad at this, but I think eventually we will be able to offer those looking for a utopia of only like minded people a product eventually, activity pub (mastodon) is actually great at this, nostr’s version will be more personal utopia than server admins utopia, but what some want is vitriol & discourse, and they will say they want this but won’t take it when offered.

I’m happy I saw it months ago, and was able to double down into nostr… but I was 14,002… apple’s 10,000 TestFlight limit is too big… the team consuming the feedback would have to be in the hundreds to be effective. They over 100k at this point. That’s just a clubhouse private invite system not a closed beta.
