I haven't posted about Syria because holy-fuck it is complicated. And happened fast. And I don't have a simple good-guy bad-guy opinion on something this crazy complicated. It can't be explained as a simple US-Russia proxy war, or a simple Israel expansionist war, or a simple Jihad (HTS isn't actually jihadist). All the groups involved are both good and bad depending on which perspective you look at it from.

All I can say for sure is I don't like seeing people die, and I'm glad I'm not there.

...And no, those are no SIMM cards. Atari was WAYYYY ahead of the curve by offering RAM cards you can put into slots that sat on top of the motherboard. A precursor to SIMMs cards, yes. Just like they were ahead of the curve on USB (with the SIO port).
