When content creators fully understand value for value and have a tool to utilize it, they will latch onto it.
They don’t need or want to be beholden to, at worst, a single entity (google Adsense), or at best, a set of large corporations for ad revenue.
This leads to a constant fear of being cancelled and losing your income which leads to the mess we are in where every prominent celebrity has the same opinions on every issue. It’s a facade to maintain revenue.
If you decentralize your content monetization, you are more secure while also being more free to make the content you want and be yourself. And your viewers/listeners can enjoy your content without ads.
It’s a win-win!!

Wow I had a very similar experience. The mid wife actually told us she was confident he was breech (by feeling my wife’s stomach) so we had done some research on natural ways to flip him based on her recommendations.
Doctor basically rolled his eyes at the idea that our mid-wife gave us this advice and that “99% of the time it doesn’t work”.
I wish I had a photo of his face when he looked at the ultrasound and asked how we did it. 😂

Totally agree. We figured some yoga and a trip to the local pool was basically zero risk and would both be nice activities even if it did nothing 😂

When my wife was pregnant with our son, he was breech (feet down) fairly late in the pregnancy. We were going to a mid-wife, but did go to the doctor for a few ultrasounds. Doctor said we should just schedule a c-section and a natural birth was not going to happen.
My wife was set on a natural birth so we did some research. Found everything from yoga positions to underwater handstands as ideas for how to flip him. We didn’t write any of them off and started trying things with an open mind.
I kid you not, we went to the pool and she did two handstands underwater. She swore the second one worked and felt it right away. She was correct. The doctor was floored. 🤣
The physical world can be thought of as a set of constraints. Everything exists within constraints.
The idea that you can assign a value to everything using a currency that has no supply cap makes zero sense. The energy behind Bitcoin combined with a constraint in the form of a supply cap is what ties it to reality and separates it from everything else.
Bitcoin is money for the real world. 🌎
If Greenpeace wanted to change Bitcoin they probably should have submitted a BIP instead of making one of the most effective marketing campaigns for Bitcoin in history.
They are learning about “equal and opposite reactions” at the moment.
