You’re probably right at this point and it’s unfortunate
Anyone and everyone can get exposure to bitcoin today, without a spot ETF. Once ‘institutions’ have that exposure and custody over all those bitcoins are they going to magically give it up and encourage self-custody and a trustless system after step 1 in the multi step process?
I don’t think so. I think it sets Bitcoin back in the long run to allowing truly censorship resistant money for anyone and everyone in the world. Locking up that much bitcoin in the hands of our traditional financial system isn’t how bitcoin was meant to be used according to this - “A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.”
I hope I’m wrong though.
Feel like a broken record on this topic but not a fan of spot ETFs. Taking the self custody out of #bitcoin is like taking the chicken out of chicken noodle soup. It sucks. It’s not bitcoin without self custody
Can’t zap you
Continue stacking sats. Wouldn’t mind seeing us teleport up to $34.5k

Makes sense. I suppose it doesn't matter too much if looking at the trend so long as I use the same source each time. Just interesting
why are there such differences in how many total LN nodes on the network?

Anyone have experience w/ Wavlake? Does it compare to anything else out there?
I’m sure the Feds will be after all KYC exchanges eventually, yeah?
Playing around this this and like it so far. The notifications experience is the best I’ve seen I think.
Yet zapping still isn’t quite the same, I do have to open my wallet each time and pay an invoice vs. one tap zapping the way it was with Damus. Am I missing anything?
Seems simple doesn’t it nostr:note1zlrxdq9d34c2ur4xfktxu5n3z367n6q6eez4kr3k6k0ktqtmfj3s2hrfn8
My app updated and I can no longer zap with Damus and Alby. What is my best alternative from iOS? I have Iris but i have to copy and paste and invoice to zap. Is there anything like one tap zaps for iOS now?
