Good action in this week on a lot of fronts. Good to see us back over the 5,000 BTC LN capacity. Also good to see an increase in LN nodes, addresses > 1M& 10M sats and my routing activity!
One thing I noticed this week is addresses over 1 BTC has been in steady decline (albeit slow and minimal each week) since early Jan this year, trying to make sense of this decline and struggling. Happy to hear any thoughts on this.
Did hashrate really drop 11%? According to #lookintobitcoin it did - Would also love to hear some thoughts on this.

Sure enough, full node count bounced back to almost 18k. Routing activity back to reality (barely anything). Address counts all tick down but for some reason #lookintobitcoin appears to have stopped updating since last Thursday. Hopefully it's just temporary and the numbers will be back next week.
Hashrate bounces big time and price/hashrate heads down again.

I just watched a farmer and his son at a bar for happy hour on a Wednesday cheering on Nvidia earnings on CNBC. Explaining that no one expected the stock split and dividend raise, and that he had some dry powder if it dropped anyway. If it doesnāt trade $1,000 tomorrow heād be shocked.

46 weeks! 6 more weeks until the full year mark, wild. Well, it was clear skies up to $71k from last week's report. Now it's decision time though - I'm still not convinced we're ready for true price discovery. I wouldn't mind us chop around in this big range from ~$60k to ~$70k, yet we all know #bitcoin beats to the beat of its own drum and it really doesn't matter what any of us wants.
All other metrics seemed to tick slightly lower last week yet not much to note outside of full node count taking a big hit. I honestly think it's just based off when I pull that number but we will take a look next week at this. My routing activity continues to bounce all around, actually up quite a bit week over week. I've been really winding it down and taking some capital out lately w/ the run up in price. The risk just isn't worth the reward to me anymore.

I'm late this week but not a whole lot to talk about honestly. We now know that weekly open was a failed breakdown level (~$61.5k). Price appears to have put in a bottom finally after being in a large range the past 2 months. Yet, as we all know, things can change quickly when the entire financial system is pinned on the decisions of a few people. Personally, I think we're clear skies up to about $71k at this point. If we're going to keep marching higher we shouldn't revisit $60k!
