And I woke up and installed Damus on my mac. Works well. I love Apple and their “walled garden” as a user, but policy mistakes are inevitable. It will change. Everything evolves. (As opposed to Google - no, thank you, not for me.) Apple have made bigger blunders. They’ll make more.
welcome, say hi to the #plebchain
Thanks for explaining, appreciate it. (I am new here, and it shows.)
I hope nostr:npub1wnwwcv0a8wx0m9stck34ajlwhzuua68ts8mw3kjvspn42dcfyjxs4n95l8 fixes that...
That is the true #nostr love. Warm feelings :)
nostr:npub1earna05hx6ax38r33h3atmecjzdu547m8suw87w70aw6mlyga4hsqcja5j is no more. So no social platform to look forward to?

Good to know there's such a thing as auto zaps!
Wow. Good luck!
Every time I see you mention blue marks I immediately get so confused seeing it 😂
Honest question: why do you have a blue check mark?

Maybe stripping the paint first... 😉 And you can totally do it yourself!!
nostr:nprofile1qqsgajr2e8ssj7vesefqdrhxkqpz8w8ryed2hvl79rakkwmw999de9shuz8h5 You really need a "Block" and "Report (public)" for spam users. I keep getting those automatic spam messages from Optimism. Iris.to has those options so every spam note I get I can click on that to report the user to relays. Spam is so stupid I can't believe anyone bothers to set up such sends. Done, rant over :)
I kept thinking and tinkering with how to make my keyboard work for me and not have me contort into some strange shortcuts. Here are my thoughts on that:
nostr:npub12ce8adukevn0zvywvyn5m55fxhlrw72y4xj9ymyvt5x78d7ylzpsacpm0f the above doesn't look linked to me on primal.net. Sorry, I'm learning :)
My recent discovery was how to keep a long and complex password on my password manager and still quickly paste it into the nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm extension. FWIW
Hey@`NOAH` , is this your official Nostr account for the noah wallet? I didn't see it listed on your website (just twitter etc). You might want to add that so people know :)
So much has been discussed over the years, it seems, about the #apple Magic Keyboard eject button becoming useless. It's not an easy keystroke to track, it's not a normal key like the rest (it's an HID usage one shot control from the Consumer usage page). Imagine that. But to get to it, there are ways for every operating system. I decided to talk about it: https://verityj.github.io/2023/06/07/eject-button.html
And what’s your problem with that? Just do it. And done.
Thanks for all your work. I am sure you will straighten it out with Apple.
Today is the day I play with colors. In a Python script, that is. In a command line. Tinkered with a script to get to version 2 with some output text emphasized (bolded, in color, etc). It was fun :) Silly and simple, but fun!
(Script: https://gist.github.com/verityj/96c846cba346c1532894c9d52972dfa5, blog post about it: https://verityj.github.io/2023/06/05/t-mobile.html)
Hey nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg I would appreciate you taking a look to the note above. I wrote a url followed immediately by a closing parenthesis. The parenthesis symbol became part of the link so it's giving an error. At least that's what I see. I assume that's not an expected behavior? (In other apps the link is fine.)
