These services make historical lookups fast. A feature youâll appreciate if youâre ever in the uncomfortable position of doing a high-stakes wallet recovery.
Also, note that the storage doesnât have to be all high speed. The block data can go into lower-speed, cheaper (HDD) disk space while the indexes and UTXO set data can be on higher speed (SSD) drive.
This is somewhat of an advanced configuration though. So if a 2TB SSD is in your budget, thatâs the simpler option.
