I prefer Antminer S9 which you can get cheaper and which generates more heat, so it’s more useful in winters in Riga (with pure central heating it’s sometimes below +20). but of course, there is downside - noise. #MineForHeat

Mempool policies aren’t strict consensus rules. Strongest filtering is to run node in blocksonly mode, so not relaying unconfirmed transactions by other parties at all. It’s still full node as it fully validates every new block.

I stopped using RPi’s for Bitcoin / Lightning node years ago. From ARM devices in home prefer Hardkernel Odroid HC4, which has two built-in SATA slots, so that I can run with two SSDs in a mirror, without using unreliable USB connection.
Why? Switching to better hardware or stopping to run node at home at all?

Hard to do lightning address on a mobile phone in non-custodial way. You end off with some tradeoffs. Lightning address requires hosting a web server.
