Losing the ability to do cross-wallet 'specific identification' for cost basis determination seems like kind of a big deal to me, but YMMV. 🤙🏻

We have a window to do a 'reset' for tax purposes. One more reason to get your coins off of the exchanges; but he also recommends that we consolidate all of our corn into a **single wallet** and lock down its cost basis for all future transactions -- watch the video to find out why.
He also introduced me to https://opentimestamps.org which is a pretty cool way to verify, via the bitcoin blockchain, that a file existed at a certain time (without uploading its contents to any servers).

Ok, this is definitely just scammer bull shit as I’d expect from Andreas. Ask your accountant what to do if your 1099-B is incorrect and they will tell you it doesn’t matter at all. Brokers can get a tiny fine for screwing it up, but you can’t and brokers hardly care themselves.

There are a couple of times to obey:
-When it’s prudent. (Like pay your tax now or we abduct you from your family.)
-When the person giving the command is doing it in love and you know you should defer to them. (Like a parent commanding a child to not run in the road or God commanding us to not to commit adultery.)

If a leader (aka an excellent doctor) says “stop doing this or you’ll be in more pain” you can choose to obey or not. If a father commands a child to not run in the road, he’s not a tyrant. God, knowing us better than a doctor or father, tells us what to do. That’s not mean. The only wrestling we need to do is trying to get out of the way of the stupid and evil ideas in us and around us and learn to listen to the father/lord/leader.
That’s a false dichotomy. Obeying God is in alignment with conscience. I didn’t learn that from a church. Like I said, Jesus said that people who want to follow him would call him Lord. Do you obey a lord? Where are you getting your assertion that God doesn’t require obedience? He’s all knowing and all-loving so I’m not sure where you’re getting the idea that obeying him is a scary concept.
Obedience /= lack of personal autonomy. God is a benevolent creator who encourages curiosity and creativity. He’s not a Hitler-like figure. So obedience is usually just doing good and beautiful things. As we see what the world is really about, giving sacrificially to the poor or laying down our lives for others becomes a joy rather than an obligation. So obedience leads to true freedom to be in alignment with how we were created.
Example: God says take care of your body. When we eat Cheetos and watch porn, it seems mean that he “deprives” us by saying not to. But when we give it up we find deeper health and relationships. Obedience -> true freedom

Living in alignment is obedience. God through the new and Old Testament is portrayed as Lord/King. He’s the only just and truly loving king, the only one worth fully obeying.
This is so underrated. Without health, our bodies decay. Without deep relationships, we’re lonely. What is Bitcoin worth to us if we celebrate it alone and sick?
