We had a great time apple pressing with friends and neighbors yesterday. We invited everyone on our street, even the ones we didn't know. Two of those households showed up, and we were glad to get to know them.
We pressed over 30 gallons of cider, and then enjoyed a potluck chili supper and sat around the fire well into nightfall. It's such a blessing to enjoy real people and real conversations in real time π

Having some fun this afternoon.

Thank you. May your wife remain cancer free for a goodly length of days π
Sadly, I had to say goodbye to one of my best friends. I hate cancer and can't wait for Revelation 22.

Can you guess what spice blend I am making? Dry roast and then grind! Star anise, fennel seed, clove, peppercorn, cinnamon.
Added to our popcorn along with plenty of salt and butter for nutrients and immune support. My kids only *think* they don't like mushrooms π

I did that about a decade ago. My hair was greasy (to me) for a short time until my scalp figured out how to maintain its own balance. Literally no one could tell I wasn't using shampoo and my hair was silky. I finally told my husband after about 4 months and he said "ew". So I went back to shampoo but it's so true that it strips your hair and then conditioner supposedly puts the nutrients back. Same for facial cleansers and whatnot. I forgot about that hair experiment I did! Inspired to revisit that and next time keep my mouth shut π
That's so cool!
Have you ever tried making your own garlic powder?
LOL well it *was* good for a laugh being the second time...kinda π€ͺ
I'm glad for all of the happy plant surprises today, because also today our van got ripped into AGAIN π
