Here's a piece of part one to give you an idea:

Submersible, Part 1

Mr. and Mrs. Kevin and Rebecca Boseman were on the smooth marble walkway clicking toward the centerpiece mansion of Oceanside Estates. "Beautiful," she remarked of it, and of the manicured landscaping, and of the modern, low-profile architecture ahead. "You too," he replied.

Rebecca was a grounded woman, given her stature; her formals were not entirely comfortable for her. A mostly unsocial workaholic, Kevin strode aside her with a posture chosen to match the occasion. Like the other guests to the billionaire's island, they felt fortunate to have been invited, but were curious and skeptical that no itinerary had been revealed.

The Bosemans had arrived just after a famous vocalist and aspiring starlet named Melody Moods had begun working the crowd inside. Melody's voice filled the lawn through the front door as they approached, supported by ambient sounds of a socialite crowd.

"Ah, the Bosemans. A delight to welcome your arrival. Please," the doorman said as he beckoned for Mrs. Boseman's fashionable overcoat. "My name is Silas, and I am at your service. Please feel welcome, and free to introduce yourselves to our other well respected guests."

Thanks man! Glad you like it. The navigation link is just hard to find and doesn't come up to the top. I'll try to figure out a solution for that. For now I'm just gonna zap it so it goes to the top. THANK U FOR YOUR SUPPORT ! :D

Heya hey...

Part 7 of my interactive serial sci-fi story on Stacker.News is almost complete, just need to sleep on it this evening and give it a final read.

Before I post it tomorrow, there's a bounty on Part 6 that hasn't yet been claimed:

https://stacker.news/items/471317/r/johnbnevin

*ya make yer guesses, ya wins yer prizes*

I've received a grant, so I'm going to be boosting the prize amounts abit.

Here you can start at the beginning if you aren't caught up:

Here's an excerpt from the very start, to give you an idea:

Submersible, Part 1

Part 6 of my interactive sci-fi / tech / econ / etc serial story is out:

https://stacker.news/items/471317/r/johnbnevin

Part #6 has a bounty 2000 SATS to solve a riddle in the story. Here's a link to part 1 if you're not caught up:

https://stacker.news/items/446662/r/johnbnevin

Note: Part #5 had two bounties. 1 was not solved (so the prize rolled over), and 2 was won by @cryotosensei for offering 'Robotics Engagement Declarations' as an idea for what R.E.D. should stand for. Perfect and better than anything I had thought of! Great ideas as to what the solution to #1 were offered, and much appreciated. Consolation prizes will be awarded :D Thanks~

1 Each individual chooses his or her default visible trust algorithm, and can change its parameters freely independent of client.

2 Yes, No. And, 'Is trusted' is not granular enough. 'Is trusted in meatspace' vs 'is trusted globally' vs 'is not untrusted' vs 'is prolly not a fed'

3 Absolutely not. A user should have the freedom to follow someone they do not trust without it affecting their WOT algorithms, if they don't want it to.

4 Require? Perhaps not. An option though. 'Create Throwaway Filter' or 'Create Persistent Filter' or 'Edit default filter' or 'Change default filter' -- these should all be independent of client

5 I'm not sure the implications, but it seems not only by clients.

I definitely think there should be a market for filters. I need to be able to click and see 'what do employees of x company' tag this image, say about this fact-check, rate this person's trust, etc.

Last call for 1750 sat bounty in my interactive serial story. Here's part 5:

https://stacker.news/items/464478

where the bounties are, but here's part 1:

https://stacker.news/items/446662

so you can start at the beginning if you're not already caught up.

It's a scifi story that brings together tech, engineering, economics, and *TBD/you'll see*.

One bounty is for anyone who can guess the current riddle in the story. The other bounty is for the best idea of what an acronym in the story should stand for.

You can post your guesses in the comments, and at other times vote on which way the story should go.

I'll be posting the next part in the series tomorrow morning, so bring those guesses and ideas!

Yea. It's a misunderstanding of economics, common with what is taught in schools today. So much coercion is involved in so many of our purchases that it's too often forgotten that, here in a voluntary v4v environment free of coercion, one can only 'make money' if people choose to part with it. Fraud is still an issue, but here we have a level playing field and we can 'zap the change we want to see in the world.'
