It's beginning to look like this little sweetie gets left to fend for herself on a fairly regular basis by the neighbours and now seems to be making herself at home here. She seems to want pets more than food but does seem skinny. Maybe we're just overfeeding our own cat? Not sure what's going to happen when the weather gets colder if things are still the same?

The absence of flood or fire was about all I was hoping for!!

I did some plumbing, I did some watertight plumbing. Fuckin' A. A bit of snot on one of the solders but the other three were, surprisingly, spot on. I don't quite feel confident enough to tackle the rest of the crappy old pipework that goes away under the floor, partly because I can't pull a vacuum on the system and would have to drain down, but who knows...one day.

I've shaved my head for decades. Played a cricket match, didn't eat anything all afternoon, dehydrated and got shit faced very quickly down the pub and must have nodded off, head down on the table. When I woke up and rubbed my head, my hand came away covered in red, eventually I was informed that a couple of the WAGS had been playing noughts and crosses on my head using lipstick. Very amusing for them, somewhat arousing for me.

Or one of the Firefox forks, Waterfox or the one I use which is Librewolf on PC. It seems to work very well straight out the box and avoids having to delve into some of the Firefox settings to stiffen it up.
