Holy crap that's a lot of bitcoin
I'm probably too horny for Nostr
This is what the birds want you to think. Well I'm not falling for it. I see them out there, chirping and scheming. Plotting. They think they're on to me, but I'm on to them.

Oh so the hot girls have no reason to join nostr:npub1ve8qwrlztemdmnh62jffcr0y9m9dpqgqjdg8ufx7gc3qw5wdk74qyv9ka6? Got it 👍
Maybe it's Amethyst or something else on my end

Same. My list is very short but fuck she is awful
Elizabeth Warren needs to fucking die.
Curious to hear folks’ takes on this. I think Jameson’s position is a reasonable one: the economics will work themselves out in the free market. He also provides very necessary historical context on inscriptions and explains how Ordinals are separate from that, functioning as a meta-protocol.

I can't zap you 😭
"you'd need to patch the vulnerability" - I'm asking how. How would such a patch function? It's unclear to me how software can identify whether or not witness data contains spammy NFTs. I'm very confused about that.
I've had this thought as well, but wouldn't that make achieving consensus extremely difficult or impossible? I believe Peter Todd pointed this out to me. We can have multiple implementations of Lightning, I understand, but the base layer is different because everyone must agree on every transaction. And apparently fundamental limitations of computer science (inevitable bugs) make accidental forks from multiple implementations all but guaranteed.
But maybe that's all nonsense. I've no idea.
I understand (vaguely) the mechanism that enables ordinals/inscriptions. I'm asking how they can be stopped. I haven't heard anyone set forth how they can actually be stopped without a hard fork or other disastrous consequences. But perhaps I missed it.
Oh this is a good point. I think this phrasing is more persuasive.
That's interesting. I wonder if the framing of inscriptions/ordinals as a taproot issue is mistaken then
Would you describe inscriptions as a "bug" introduced by taproot? I.e., could we have gotten taproot without inscriptions? Or is it conceptually impossible to have one without the other?
"Missed an exploit" - what is technical fix to this "exploit"? Images have been encoded on bitcoin since before segwit
Getting off of Lexapro doesn't feel great, but I can feel my ambition and drive surging
When I was a child, I thought it was really fucking weird my parents lied to me about Santa Claus. And then I was expected to keep the lie going by not telling the other kids too stupid to figure it out.
Like how tf is he supposed to visit every house on earth in one night?
