It's officially Christmas in MST, so Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals! ππ βοΈππͺπ»
Sometimes, nature is inadvertently beautiful. Try to notice and appreciate when it happens.

Fun fact: Ostriches eat rocks and poop out Amethysts. https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/d2a456eb06cd43b17c0660e7ebf48e80582579cad8c0326a1b5a0d336860dad3.mp4
And that's the story of Christmas π
Is there a client that can sum and rank my or nostr:nprofile1qqs24yz8xftq8kkdf7q5yzf4v7tn2ek78v0zp2y427mj3sa7f34ggjcpzamhxue69uhhv6t5daezumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj703s8dt's biggest zappers of the year? π€
Or do I need to make one? π
Why would another client have a function to determine the best zappers on Amethyst? π€
Wait like 30 sec. It's having some issues with it freezing up. But if you wait a bit you'll be able to go to Settings. It may freeze up again when you do. Just wait again and go to the update. It might take a while but you should be able to eventually run the update. Then, hopefully, it'll be resolved after the update. Mine is working normal again.
Come out to the coast, we'll have a few laughs...
I just hooked up my nostr:nprofile1qqsf07zg4hxyccnkdp07fppxmetpfzru3fg6mgzx3nk8r7af8qnjjygpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wd3skueqpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejsxj0y5x Lightning node to the nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0spzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcprdmhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vfwde3x7tnpdenkzmnf9e3k75xqss4 Go wallet! It uses NWC to facilitate the connection. So cool. I love interoperability! π
It can be hard for the local markets to stay in business. Most people shop where the price is lowest, and that usually means the big grocery stores. So the markets have fewer customers, but have to pay the same rents. I'm fortunate that a really good market has thrived in my city, as there's a big population that buys based on quality. But I know it's not possible for many other areas.
I don't understand people's impulse to deviate from the recipe. In order for it to come out correctly, all the ingredients need to be included, and in the correct proportions. It's not like cooking where you can toy with the recipe.
I buy from local farmer's markets whenever possible. Everything is better. The produce, the meats, the dairy... It's all so good. The price is a little higher than the regular grocery stores, but the quality is worth it.
Sounds like nobody is using it so they're trying to increase adoption by pumping the user base.
Using a combination of social engineering, and malware, this guy was able to steal $230 million in #Bitcoin from an unsuspecting target in Washington.
Take this as a warning to protect your private keys. Don't give them to anyone under any circumstances. If possible, keep them on a hardware signing device. And if people start calling you claiming to be from Google, or an exchange you use, don't believe it.
$230 million. Think about how that guy must feel, and let that be your motivation for being vigilant.
Merry Christmas to you, as well! π πβοΈ
The LifPay wallet facilitates the card purchase, and the mechanism for loading them. It's pretty cool.
I buy it as needed when I'm planning a transaction. Otherwise, I just keep a small amount on hand.
It's too late for this year, but you can also get Bolt Cards, which are basically Bitcoin gift cards you can load with your phone via NFC.
I think the cream & sugar combo is what packs the weight on. But it really is worth it. There's a local diary near my place that puts out a limited edition egg nog each year. It's ridiculously good. They only send like 6 bottles a week to the local farmer's market, so you have to get there early when it's time, otherwise you have to try again the next week. There's always a group of 5-10 die hard egg noggers, who get there an hour before the market opens and scoop up all the bottles. I'm always among them. Lol
I love egg nog (no booze), and drink roughly 6 gallons of it every year between November and early January. It's probably why I gain 5-10lbs every holiday season. #WorthIt
"Pardon me, inkeeper, do you accept shitcoin?"
